The address box for paying doesn't show the "continue" button in the window. It was a pain in the butt to press continue. Too many add-ons that you try to sell. TT seems to be getting less user friendly. I might try a different tax service next year.

I really like using Turbo Tax and have done so for many years. It is usually easy to use, directions are clear, works well with my computer, and has all the features I need. I have never had an error issue with any of my filings in all these years. This year I ran into trouble with some of the forms that showed "errors" in the final review. All of these errors were apparently the result of putting zeros in boxes where I had no amounts to enter. The system judged these as errors. I worked with three specialists over a two week period to get this all corrected. A warning in the program would have saved me a lot of time. The 3 specialists, Jessica, Robin, an Zanita were all WONDERFUL! They were patient, super smart, and stayed with me until all the errors were finally corrected. I know there were great technicians involved, too but only learned one name - Ericka. Thank you all!

Too much marketing when first opened trying to sell assistance. Tech support is already included so why try to market more at the outset. Appears as though focus is more on marketing assistance than tax preparation. Have been using Turbo Tax for many years, this year not so impressed as QCD questions were eliminated and requiring tehnical support which was never needed before. Shame on the marketing greed?

Quite a few bugs this year. Clearly the quality has gone down hill. Many instances where I had to copy data from last years tax return in this years. Also The debacle of how the schedule E pop up behaves is a bug that needs to be fixed!!! If you do not know what this is, shame on you! Google it or ask an AI about problems with Shedule E, you will be suprised you shipped with this poor behavior (I sure would not).

I have been using TurboTax for the past 15 years, or so, and this was the first time I had ever had to contact a Tax Advisor for assistance. I had a complicated question while doing my return, and I contacted Brenda at TurboTax, and she gave me solid and dependable information to my question.

I have had great success with using Turbo Tax to do my income taxes for several years now. I enjoy the way the software handles any situation that may come up. It almost makes the task of doing my taxes a fun thing to do. I like the way that each year it seems to get easier to get the job done.

Intuit needs to make it much easier to begin TurboTax tax preparation. The intuit website should have a prominent prompt where you can enter your username, password and your service key to begin the application. I don't need to be sent off into other windows trying to sell me expert tax advisors. give me a way to begin my tax preparation immediately. Also, in the past the charitable giving valuation tool has been useful. Not having it this year made me have to find the value of my charitable offerings from other sources which added hours to my time preparing my taxes.

TurboTax user for 25 years. Input screens seem to be getting so simple (dumbed down) that they are now confusing as to what data needs to be input. This leads me to question TurboTax's accuracy in calculating the various IRS forms. A first time user may not catch all of the nuances. All of the questions I had with TurboTax caused me to take longer to do the 2025 Fed taxes than expected. Several areas where state ID information is requested in 1099-R section. Texas not listed in selection screen as a choice. 1099-R data input did not place amounts into 1040 form where I expected them. Input was reviewed and found to be correct. Deleted input completely and re-entered information; amounts on 1040 form were then placed where expected. 1099-R RMD screen is very confusing. As a first time taker of RMDs, I have until April 2026 to take my RMDs. I actually took them in Dec 2025. The way the screen appears to be worded, it said I needed to input $0 as my RMD number for 2025. This makes no sense. I called TurboTax, they confirmed this was correct. Not sure what underlying screens or year to year RMD tracking is affected. Screen needs major wording clarification. Also, why is TurboTax updated every time I log in? If software updates change my situation after I've input data or filed my taxes, how is my filing affected? It still updates my 2024 version if I open it!

The product is good. A few small things here and there but overall good. So the product is a 4. The really one star thing is that Turbo Tax wants you to buy more things from them . More services, everything on line. Upgrade this etc. Very shameful of them. If you have an understanding of taxes, you might consider a different less aggravating product.

Calculating the next year's (2026) estimated taxes was a problem. The step-by-step method had no way of entering IRA withdrawal withholding. There was no other way to enter tax withholding other than maybe a W-2 or possibly a W-4 entry, which we have neither since we are retired. We had to over-ride several boxes in the individual forms to get the calculation correct for the estimated tax vouchers. TT kept on calculating the total tax without taking into account IRA distribution withholding. We had no problems with the actual 2025 tax filing itself, only the estimated tax section.
