I took a star away because I found that even getting to the correct place to download Turbo Tax Deluxe was made more difficult than before, as you push the free version at the top of the page which was distracting. I was a bit confused when entering info that the transfer info or upload option was dominate. I figured it out, but it wasn't seamless. Seems this should be easier as time goes by, not more difficult.

I thought it was more complicated than usual as it asked more questions than usual about our retirement income (IRA's), etc. Moreover, it kept prompting if I want to do this on-line and honestly, I don't know because i am skeptical if it would be secure enough.

This years TurboTax desktop deluxe had significant errors in the software that resulted in having to delete forms and reentering them. This included both 1099-INT and 1099-R. The problems arose out of Turbotax corrupting these forms when the return was saved. It scrambled information between multiple 1099s which were form the same issuer. This widely changed the tax calculations. I could not simply correct the forms in the software and save. It required deleting all the 1099s from a given issuer, saving, reopening (sometimes deleting them again) and saving. At one point I had to delete the return and start over. This is the buggiest version of TurboTax I have ever worked with. I also ran into information dialogs that were incorrect but did not effect the return.

I have used your tax software for 21 years and never have had an issue with my filings. Always been easy to use and file. No mistakes have ever been found. I have two computers and when I first tried to download on a system that was using 13.7 the software would not work as the OS had to be newer. So I had to download again on higher OS system.

Company out to take your money, but puts you in a position where you have to buy more. Transparent costs and stop with the up selling. Also the browser experience is difficult so quit asking me why I don't want to use it. I already spend hours working through the desktop app. Ya'll need to seriously rethink the desktop experience if you really want to go that route and not provide the desktop app anymore. I also noticed you don't have price as category for suggested topics, because you know everyone would comment on that.

Well Turbo tax seems to be pretty good so far, I am use to using a program like this I have been working for a Tax company for 4 years and it i very similar . The only things that threw m here was you all required us to have our AGI from previous year to File. I think that is wrong my company I work for Don't Do That. I of course had to go on IRS.gov to get 2024 AGI.

Everything was fine except for the excruciating time it took to update TurboTax every time I went into it. Took like 40 minutes every time. Never had this problem in past years. Please fix next year or I may be forced to switch to another software.

On the most part Turbo Tax software was good and smooth. However, it was a little frustrating to discover are the review/check for errors section there were unanswered questions. The questions were unanswered because they were never presented when completed the forms. To correct something that were never presented, tells me something is very wrong. I hope that this fixed by the next tax year. Thank you.

Very disappointed that Turbo tax did not tell me that the federal return has to be direct deposit. IRS no longer issues checks for refunds. Now I have to create an account with the IRS and have multiple layers of security to enter the bank information. Its too much red tape for $77.00. You should have informed your customers.

No problem with e-filing my Federal return. However, I could never get the Virginia app to respond so that I could pay $25 to e-file. I spoke with your technical support several times to no avail. I have used Turbo Tax for decades that this is the first time that I have been completely disappointed with your product. Whatever is wrong with the Virginia segment needs to be fixed.
