I'm a TT user for decades. Some truly useful features seem to be discontinued, or are extremely hard to find. i ended up using Gemeni AI to find things. - no way to do a trace back from problematic number to where it was changeable input; cause me couple hours' work - unclear how to differentiate forms from worksheet-forms combinations; in older TT versions, I could easily relate the questions and boxes to the specific line on the 1040, so I could directly fill out 80% of questions/data and concentrate onf the rest using what were better explanations - generally it seems latest TT has minimal explations; e.g. different between HSA, MSA, and TSA, which are very different but poorly explained; I wasted hours trying to get 1099-SA for my FSA until I finally found from FSA company that no 1099's are provided or needed for FSA's

your advertisement is JOKES , $0 is $0....... i do not invite you to my store and say i have FREE popcorn and then charge you a bakers fee at the end....... Turbo tax advertisement says "file for $0" when, at the very end im paying fees....... THATS STILL PAYING FOR SOMTHING which turns your advertisement into a lie. What's even more crazy is you dont even SAY ANYTHING about the fees you have to pay at the end ......

I've been using this software pretty much since it came out and have enjoyed using it because it's user friendly. This year was a little frustrating. There were some changes that were ok but others not so much. I highly recommend reviewing your filing in printed format before sending it. I found out, had I not, that I would have made quarterly estimated tax payments for 2026. Something I do not want to do, nor need to do. I had to find how to fix it. I think this only affected State taxes though. Additionally, I don't e-file State because I don't want to pay to do it. The option to print just State is not there. You can do it but you have to play around with the end of the process to make it happen. Super frustrating and wasted some of my time. I'll still use it and still recommend it. Just giving others a heads up.

Far too many and confusing and somewhat redundant screens regarding INT and Div. The section re: IRA would not let me check the IRA box for my IRA RMD so I had to select Other in order for my taxes to be completed and E-filed. Didn't make sense! The import screen for financial institutions was also confusing this year and I had to try many times to get connected and the data downloaded. Other than that most of TurboTax was as easy enough to navigate

Does not really answer questions. You end up having to go to the internet or the IRS to get more detailed information. It's not worth buying the program for simple taxes with the standard deduction being so large. Money for the program, money to file, advertisements the whole way...spend money to pay money. Thanks.

Could not e-file because system requires an issue date my Colorado driver's license buy this field is not printed on my license. I would not have e-filed in any event because the service you use says there is a $40 processing fee for federal tax refunds. I am thinking about using HR Block next year and probably will do so.

I have been using TurboTax for more than 25 years. Over the past few years TurboTax handling of Health Savings Accounts has improved and I greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately there are a couple bugs that have been persisting for several years now and Intuit still has not fixed them. 1. TT should transfer my checking account information that is used every year for my refund, however on the state of Michigan product TurboTax ALWAYS changes the account type to a savings account and EVERY year I have to manually change it back to checking. Also, when about to file for state of Michigan, TT displays the account and routing number and has you confirm that it is correct, then TT forces you to to retype the routing number and account number even if you used it the previous year..... And then when you move on to the next screen you have to re-type it again even though you have already confirmed it and retyped it. 2. One of the most frustrating changes that TT has made in recent years is to make it very difficult to E-file federal taxes then paper-file the state taxes. Federal E-file is included in TT Deluxe and it is easy enough to E-file federal but then it assumes you want to pay extra money and E-file the state as well. It will not give you the instructions and the ability to print the state forms for paper filing after E-filing Federal. You have to back up then tell the software you want to paper-file the federal return and the software is quick to warn you not to paper file after the E-filing is complete, but at least then it will give you the instructions and the ability to print the state of Michigan tax return. It used to be great and allow you Federal E-File and Paper-file State THEN save either key worksheets or all worksheets for either Federal or State, now it just lumps it all together and you have to choose which pages to print or save. Anyway, if Intuit decides to fix these bugs I would be much more likely to give a more positive review next year.

There is a glitch on form 7206 line 11 which incorrectly calculated my taxes. I had to contact a turbo-tax professional to correct the issue and we had to manipulate the information on the forms to get the correct calculations and then file an amended return. I found it in reviewing my taxes from previous years. The professional was very good but I don't think the people he had to contact to resolve the issue understood the problem. I feel someone at Turbo Tax should have corrected the forms when it was brought to their attention..

Did not engage with a Turbo tax live expert. Was not going to pay that much for justifying what the government has stolen from me. I do not like the push to doing my taxes on line. If I say I want it on my desktop then that's where I want it. Just got done trying to find out status of my refunds. Took me 20 minutes and the help button to finally get there. Why wasn't it there when I opened my file? I like the welcome screen that was used in previous years when I would open turbo tax and it showed the returned I had worked on rather than having to make a search through my files to find it. Some features were improved on yet others I feel got worse. You need to remember this should be programed for someone that doesn't like or is not familiar with doing a return. I don't know if Turbo tax is accurate or not, I sure hole so.

Interface is constantly trying to sell additional services I already declined and the default button is to buy what I already said I don't want to buy. The font is too small, I had to change my settings to read with my glasses on. The 3rd party payment page would not fully display all the fields with the display settings on large, I had to change my display settings to see all the fields. 2025 TurboTax required a OIS that my MacBook could not upgrade to. The donations section no longer provides the estimated values of goods like prior years creating more work.
