Good software but very misleading! The software I purchased said 1 free State filing, but I never got a free State filing. Had to pay for all 5 State filings.

I did have some issue with locating my Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1116), but otherwise TurboTax worked well to lead me through all the categories as per previous year filing.

You pay for the program. You then work on your own filing. Then, when you go to e-file, they nickel and dime you into a processing fee. Make the program free, if you are going to force me to pay for doing my own work.

It's annoying to not know the true cost of Turbo Tax. The solicitation for paying for additional features is annoying. The hidden fees for processing an e-file is also irritating.

Intuit/Turbotax is providing false advertising: you advertise that federal tax filing is free and yet I was charged $60. My federal tax schedule indicates a refund $2437. I actually received $$2377. Explain???

Why did it take an act of congress to download th program rather than do it on the website. Intuit makes enough money and already knows toeo much about my personal finances to pull this stunt. ENOUGH!!!

it was easier in years past. Especially the state portion, specifically the edvest 529 portion. Also, the RMD question (although it's our first year.

I've use HR Block software for 15+ years and thought it was pretty good. TurboTax was much easier to follow and it did import my data from the old software

Overall I prefer using turbotax over live 3rd party preparers. Have never had to use turbotax advice service. Have always just researched and plowed through the screens one at a time.

Generally turbotax has been good over the years. It did not catch a duplication mistake on a prior year return, when the program downloaded and duplicated my financial borkerage data. It makes me question the error checking procedures.
