TurboTax was great until I had to file an amended state tax return. Then it did not calculate the necessary changes properly and would not let me modify the forms manually. I had to find and fill out the forms myself and mail them in. Disappointing.

I have used TurboTax for several years, and I have found it to be easy to use, and like the way that TurboTax asks questions like a professional tax preparer. I wish there was an option to ask one tax question for no cost.

Now that you have removed "It's Deductible" I will have to reconsider whether or not to continue with TT or some other product. Additionally, there were just some things about TT this year made it a bit more difficult to use.

Got stuck on IP Pin for no good reason. You need to add a note that in addition to requiring last years IP pins, you will need to select a new, different IP pins for this year (joint return).

A little more complicated it seemed this year but that may have been AI related. Still a nice solution for filing taxes for someone who doesn't have a complicated situation. Thanks

My Taxes are straightforward and TTax handles them easily. I had one question regarding QCD's and that was handled on the phone quickly and courteously.

for NY State on the 1099-R form the Gross Distribution and the State Distribution have to be same to file electronic. i think the (or statement ) in wrong.

Been using turbo tax since inception - do not like the "hidden" $40 return processing fee. Did not have a good review of the return as it was only available in the print screen thumbnail - Not good

I wasn't able to put account number in the box to pay NY state, it only let me enter 5 characters. also IRA workflow very awkward. Could not go back and forth between forms and easy step.

I did have some issue with locating my Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1116), but otherwise TurboTax worked well to lead me through all the categories as per previous year filing.
