GREAT, EXCEPT - you ALWAYS screw up the MN property tax refund / rebate. We cannot do that until we get our property tax statement for THIS year. Generally get it late in the year. So we have to always skip the thing. Then when we waant to file it it takes a houdini to find the beeping form to fill it out. FIX THAT. Thanks. I often just go to the MN online to do it as it is too cmplicated.

Well I try to send my taxes by e-file and they rejected it saying they needed my wife Ruth AGI. No where did your program ask me for my wife AGI. So why do they need it, if they don't ask. And why did they want my wife AGI when we are filling as joint filling. I put my wife and I AGI in the space from my 2024 tax return that I did on Turbo Tax program, but they still rejected it! don't understand. You need to fix it for me.

I SPOKE WITH 5 TURBOTAX AGENTS TRYING TO CORRECT A PROBLEM OF NOT BEING ABLE TO EFILE. THERE WAS NO DATA ENTERED THAT SHOULD HAVE TRIGGERED THE PROBLEM. NO ONE COULD FIND A REASON FOR THE DENIAL. THE FIFTH AGENT, WHO THE OTHERS CALLED AN EXPERT, COULD NOT FIND A REASON FOR THE GLITCH EITHER. SO SHE DID A PROGRAM RE[LACEMENT WHICH SOLVED THE PROBLEM. ALL OF THE AGENTS WERE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS, COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

I've been using TurboTax from its beginning and have grown accustomed to it. It's easy to use and I have full confidence that my taxes are completed accurately. My returns are pretty basic, so I don't utilize many of TurboTax's features, but it's comforting to known that they are available.

When I initially entered my information, I was informed I owed a penalty due to tax underpayment. It took a good deal of effort to discover how to use the annualized method, which I used and eliminated the penalty. A prompt to suggest use of Form 2106 and how to use the annualized method would have been helpful.

The first page you see when you go to enter 1099-INT or DIV info, by importing the forms, is a new format that I haven't seen in the past. In trying to use that new page, I found myself trying to import some forms, and then that same new-format page would appear again, unchanged, as if I hadn't done anything yet. I called for live TurboTax help, and they figured out that Fidelity, the company whose forms I was trying to import, had not yet posted those forms. But it took a bit of digging to figure that out -- seems like there should have been some clear up-front message to that effect when I tried to do the import.

Main reason for using TurboTax is it allows forms for spouse having a foreign bank account (TaxCut did not). The process is straight forward and basically simple. Occasionally some sections seem overly complex but then that goes to completeness which is a good thinh

I have used TurboTax for years and used to love the software. This year was an unbelievable pain in the neck. From trying to install the product to actually using it, it was a terrible experience. I will probably never buy TurboTax again, and will, instead, opt for H&R Block software, or pay someone to do my taxes for me and my family.

I have been doing our taxes and for another family member via TurboTax for decades. I love TurboTax. It is one of the benchmark apps that is consistently great. It allows me to ge as deep into tax things as I need to or want to. The Community system is great for sorting out weird situations. I have used that in years when I was doing an estate, a business and other complicated things. Doing taxes makes me unhappy because of the waste and fraud by the governments. But, Turbo Tax makes it easier and saves me lots of money.
