I've been using Turbo Tax for a few years now but sometime i ran into some section that is hard for me to understand but i keep coming back to Turbo Tax because i want to get better at it.

My experience with TurboTax was great until we got to my student information, it took over an hour to get the system to except my information. The information I finally added was okay but not what I wanted to add. The system has a mind of its own.

Seemed to work well, but the cost of E-Filing the State return keeps increasing by $5 each year. Starting to get cost prohibitive. Enough increases already!

When importing documents from the same entity, I had to enter a package and document number. It would be nice if I saw those numbers within TurboTax so I could easily see which entries go to which imports.

filing non-resident CA taxes was quite intuitive. I wasn't looking forward to dealing with the state filing since it's unfamiliar (I'm a WA state resident). The search for credits and breaks was rewarding and simple thanks to the UI

The thing I don't like about Turbo Tax is if you want to go back and review/change an item you have to go through the entire section to make a change, quite time consuming.

it is good if you don't have challenging issues like selling a house. If find that I get stuck in that area and would require additional paid assistance from Turbotax.

PROGRAM DOES NOT COMPUTE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SIMPLIFIED METHOD PENSION WORKSHEETS OR GENERAL RULE PENSION WORKSHEETS. SHOULD POINT OUT THAT IT DOESN'T DO SO.

This is my 42nd year using TurboTax. Big floppy disks: one for the program and one for the data if I remember correctly. 5 stars from the first year through this year. Thank yo for not wrecking it.

I've used Turbotax for years. I appreciate that it handles the tax laws and I don't have to worry about it. I can take advantage of deductions and ensure that I'm staying within the tax regulations.
