Deluxe version includes federal filing charge, state should cost $25 more, as you finish, it makes you buy the premium version for $45 plus the $25 state fee. What's up with that?? Purposeful rip off it seems.

Been using Turbotax for years - no, actually it is decades. Back in the day, I did them manually, but this is so much easier and so much faster! And I am sure I do not forget a deduction and I know it is always correct.

I do not understand why you need to keep up-dating the product. Is it not complete when you sell it? Also, the little extras like audit protection should be included in the initial cost.

I had problems entering in the credit card month for the payment for my state taxes. It would not check months 9 thru 12. So I had to use another credit card to pay with. Don't know if it is a software issue or not.

i have been using turbo tax for several years, it is simple to use and saves time over paper returns, and saves money over having a return prepared by someone else.

I have used TT for decades. TT has walked me through some pretty complex filings and thankfully is still here to hold my hand while I prepared the least complicated return yet. Thank you, TT

Even with downloading brokerage statements, keeps asking for specific info that's on the form. And asks obscure questions that are difficult to understand. They make it very frustrating and more time consuming then it ought to be.
