I've used Turbo Tax for many years. This is the first time I couldn't use a certain credit card because the box that opens up to enter the credit card information won't let you enter an expiration date past August because you can't scroll past 8 on the box that drops down and you can't type it in directly. I was lucky I had a credit card that expires in April because I could pick 04 in the box. Also the stupid Canadian form shows up even if you say you don't have earning from a foreign country. Forum is full of complaints about this.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years but this years version was somewhat disappointing. It would not pull information from previous year files requiring all data and info to be entered from a blank form and some help screens were blank pages.

Turbo Tax is easy to use and walks you through filling out your forms with questions. I like that I can also always go to the actual tax forms to make any changes needed or to check the math. You can see the source of the calculation that are made which allows me to double check to accuracy. FYI The software is always more accurate then my own calculations. I also like their help tips and definitions so you can better understand what forms your need for the section your in or to explain who it applies to. Plus they offer tax advice when you run into questions. Its pricey for the desktop version, but It helps you get your taxes done quickly.

Turbo tax is easy to use but I did have some confusion this time. I had to go to Google to ask a few questions to see if something was deductible or not. It had to do with information transferred to the State form from the Federal. Although it transferred my Social Security info, it did not specifically tell me that it had or show me where it was until I looked at the actual form. Also, it implied that some investment expense that was not tax deductible in the Federal might be covered in the state. I kept looking for where that adjustment might be but, only after I learned from a Google question did I find that what I was looking for was not deductible on my state return either.

I have been using TurboTax for many years was very disappointed this year. Two major difficulties 1) Regarding our wealth management acounts the import failed to load any of the 1099-XXX information. This led to a bunch of problems that consumed a lot of time to correct. 2) I hit a need to review certain things before it would allow me to file, which is ok, accuracy is important. However, if I moved from correcting one box to the forms to check something I was force to cycle through the full review cycle - this is an abysmal waste of time. I will consider a different product next year.

I've used TurboTax Software for about 16 years or more . This year, a few glitches told me I owned property in another county (not true), and at times it was not easy to determine how to proceed. The process for acquiring documents/data from other institutions is not intuitive in the screen icons. It takes some extra patients to figure it out, and frankly, it should not be that difficult.

Have used TurboTax for 30 years. Very logical, sequential, efficient digital method. Saves me $500/year. Enables me to understand exactly how my taxes are correctly filed. TurboTax data entry takes less time than I'd spend with a paid professional. TurboTax has all the detail, instructions, worksheets, etc. for a top-level analysis. Love Turbo Tax!

I have used Turbo Tax for multiple years (10+ years) and never had an issue. Last year i made a mistake and went with a different tax filing company and was severely disappointed. I tried to save a couple bucks by trying a different product and i paid for it in the end. I will allows be a Turbo Tax customer for now on.

It was extremely disappointing to use TurboTax this year. They dropped the It's Deductible feature and replaced it with a dismal and very cumbersome alternative. They failed to properly notify people before they purchased this year's version that they had scrapped the best feature of their software. I do not plan on purchasing Turbo Tax in future years as the itemized deduction process is a pain in the butt now when it used to be easy. I had to go outside of Turbotax to find alternative software to use in getting a value for the goods and clothes we donated.

I am not alone in saying Intuit put out a product that was NOT ready. There are too many problems and not everyone at my retirees breakfast club had all of the same problems. Some when they attempted to carry over 2024's information it did not populate the 2025 form lines. Intuit should notify us about the NY forms problem. Instead in fine print it says ny final forms not available. Disgusted and frustrated.
