With TT you don't have to keep track of last year's entries. TT pulls basic entries from last year and populates the current years return. It is thus simple and timesaving.

I have used Turbo Tax since it began. The push to online is disappointing. The inability to file for tax extension in the 2025 version will most likely be the last issue I deal with. Very sorry to need another method of doing our taxes in 2026.

TurboTax assessed a 6% penalty for what it thinks are excess Roth IRA contributions. However, the filer is over 50 years old, and the contribution limit is increased for that demographic. Very disappointing.

I have used Tubo tax for years. I couldn't get the software to download. Wasted my time and money. No support. The change they made in this new way of downloading has caused problems. Yes I have windows 11.
