It's always easy to file my taxes using TurboTax. Been using it for years. I feel it is very accurate, makes sure I do not miss anything, and over time has added functionality that makes data entry much easier. have never had a compatibility problem. Would highly recommend.

TurboTax created frustration in the process often when the situation slightly complicated. I have no choice to keep with TurboTax since it is the only software I have been used for many years. If you just are starting to pick the tax return software, I suggest you explore the different software before you lock with one app.

Filed my federal return early as I was owed a refund and the process was great. I had to wait to file the state return but when I reopened the software it won't let me continue but instead tries to get me to refile the federal return. I've been unable to efile my state return. I didn't have these issues in past software versions. Federal and state often have different due dates - I should not be forced to file them together.

You need to upgrade the help to give the option to index and link directly to IRS publications and use AI to help with this. The help on TurboTax is designed to force ignorant users into paying for assistance. People who know how to do tax research do not want to use your pathetic help system and have to exit TT to access real help documents.

I have used TurboTax for years. I did NOT like this version. There are a ridiculous amount of advertisements, the program is constantly trying to sell me something. It was like the kids at the fast food restaurants expecting a tip for doing their job. Thumbs down guys! I am not impressed with this one.

Changes to the program from 2024 have made it LESS user friendly, particularly the process for entering stock sales! The "File" section is clunky when trying to print the state return for filing by mail vs efile. This option is buried to far down in the selection tabs. All these options/combinations should be shown on ONE page!

After 15 years of falling for this useless software, I keep coming back. 15 years ago I requested that TT at the VERY least define the difference between CSRS and FERS annuity tax payers, that has never happened. This year is no different. And this year this garbage software locked up tighter than frogs outtie while transmitting my files. YES THE LATEST GD UPDATE WAS INSTALLED!!1 garbage software

When I initially entered my information, I was informed I owed a penalty due to tax underpayment. It took a good deal of effort to discover how to use the annualized method, which I used and eliminated the penalty. A prompt to suggest use of Form 2106 and how to use the annualized method would have been helpful.

This year TT Deluxe is NOT user friendly. It was a download version on top of Windows 11 updates, and the interface was not compatible. The import 2024 feature failed which was the basically the reason for the purchase to file individual returns. It was not apparent and with no guidance where the BBB for seniors was applied. I goggled to find out. The format changes-questions were too simple without detail info to use to make decisions, making for section do overs. This year took way longer as input was manually. And the major issue for 2025 is the missing block in TT to insert the taxpayer ID Protection Identity Pin and IRS REJECTED the return for electronic filing with missing ID. IRS instructed to print and mail return which totally defeats the purpose. TT was a waste of money and time, providing very little service to taxpayer. I am hoping my data is compiled and reported with accuracy. If I can't import next year, then what would be the point to purchase TT 2026?? 2025 waste a waste of money. Oh, don't forget to write in a block to add the ID PIN at signature!!

Whereas in years past the TT desktop software ran easily and smoothly. This year we were completely bogged down and encountered problems. Thank goodness for The Live Help. We consulted with Sarah R and would not have been able to complete this year's taxes without her. Thank you very much Sarah.
