Even though I have used Turbo Tax for decades, I could not populate all of my personal data fro previous years. I had to re-enter EVERYTHING and cannot compare this year's return with any previous years. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! The when I had to print my return before e-filing, the program locked.

Never had a problem with TurboTax calculations. Sometimes have to search to see whether a particular topic has been covered (ie. QCDs when completing charitable donations), but generally fairly easy to use. The interface has improved a lot over the past few years, especially for Mac users.

I had a problem with a amended tax return. The rep from turbo tax, told me it takes 3 weeks to catch up. they suggested I mail the return. My turbo tax gave me a receipt that I sent the return electronicaly. But when i did the amended it said it was Never sent

Easy to walk through and understand. Good job in pulling information. Main complaint is I spent extra money to get e Deluxe with State version and then had to pay to eFile my state taxes. This is not explained in any of the pre-purchase information. Next year I will definitely look to use a different service.

The constant ads to upgrade are annoying. The desktop version suddenly got the beachball of death and I had to force quit. When I reopened everything was gone. I panicked. Fortunately, there was an "unsaved" version I could access by searching. Prior to filing I tried to save my return as a pdf and it quit unexpectedly. I had to revisit a few screens to get back to where I was. Better to save a pdf after you file.

Customer services provided by Turbo Tax are extremely helpful, especially the interface with live agent assist me greatly to overcome the software glitch smoothly. Agent Brittany R. was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my issue was fully resolved. I’m so very grateful for her professionalism. It’s such a rare encounter to receive such a genuine customer care.”

I am upset you do not support form 8621 - a simple informational form. I understand there is a cost to programming the interview questions but most of us would be happy just having the form included in the software to fill out ourselves. This missing form means I can't e-file my federal return which means I can't e-file my NY state tax either. If form 8621 is not included in Turbotax next year, I will be using TaxAct which does support this form.

We have used the TurboTax programs for a few years now and we have been absolutely pleased with the accuracy, features, and online assistance if needed. Additionally, the check for errors is a great feature if you missed or inaccurately entered the wrong information.

Quality seems to be an issue. Did not handle forms imported from fidelity cleanly - I had to edit and add information. Also - why cant it take a picture of paper forms like 1099-INT and get the data ?? The boxes are clear enough - this is feeling like old tech.

I'm only annoyed/upset with the estimated state taxes NOT being listed when doing the state return. I hunted thru the state forms several times, then went back to the federal forms looking to see if it was entered there, which I finally saw that it was. I'd appreciate having the estimated state tax field and number shown so it' be a reminder and check that it was done already. Sometimes there isn't time to go end-to-end in getting the federal & state taxes done in a single session. Thank you.
