Desktop TurboTax keeps getting worse every year. They just aren't putting any money into improving it. There is no way to report bugs. Next year, I'll be buying a different brand of software.

I used TurboTax Deluxe, Desktop Edition to prepare my Federal and State tax returns for 2025, after my longtime tax preparer retired. I was surprised and impressed by how easy it was to use, and I won't hesitate to use it again next year.

I've used Turbo Tax for so many years and it's so easy and thorough. It shows me when I've made a mistake and prompts me on how to fix it. Filing is super easy and refunds are quick. Highly recommend to anyone including self employed customers.

I did not like that It's Deductible was gone and had no tool to replace it for figuring out clothes donations. And there was no question or warning about tax penalty and had to dig Form 2210 manually to request a waiver.

overall it is excellent job... one cent comment on item such as K-1 schedule with foreign tax credit needs more specific guideline or function (or how to look up or handle data).

online ruined everything for me with Turbo Tax!! I've used the desktop version for decades, this was the first and last try with their online product

Like the way they guide you through the tax process. Had to think on a couple of areas so hopefully they'll fine tune it so I don't have to do any researching on my own for filing.

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It was very easy to use and compatible with other programs of which I interface. The dropdown prompts are great! They guide me in the right direction for my circumstances. I wouldn't change a thing. Love it!

I used the Deluxe version. It is very difficult to enter the cost basis for bond sales when it was not reported to the IRS from the brokerage firm. The software should have an option to deal with this issue.

too much talk about all Turbo does for you, but when you ask any question there is always a fee associated with the answer. Simple is less and less is better.
