Very good for entering data. The transfer of data from federal to state had a software glitch. It would not automatically transfer public retirement pension (firefighter) to the state form 4884, I had to manually enter it on the worksheet.

I thought it was hard to get started in the beginning. I thought it made it harder than it should of been. It's very time consuming. Probably all the same.

Easy to use, but I hate that they charge extra to electronically file my state return. This fee should be included in the cost of the package when I buy software support for my state taxes.

Turbo Tax has slipped a good deal. Nothing has changed, but my Qualified Retirement Account was suddenly treated as an Annuity with no help as how or where to get new information being requested.

My interaction was with Angelique, she was great. She allayed my fears and, helped me to correct all my Tax errors. the information given was useful information.

It was super complicated to file with multiple charges mid-process. I got charged almost $100 in unavoidable fees despite being a full-time student and dependent who made a total of 2,500 last year. It felt overly complicated and super predatory.

Mac version is still not Apple Silicon - unacceptable. Also found some errors in the interview questions so had to use the forms to make sure submission was correct.

I have no idea what happened between 2024 and 2025, but TurboTax crashes all the time in MacOS. Absolutely worthless, I am never using this again after having been a user for 20+ years. Complete garbage.

Incurred a couple software errors in completing this years return that significantly affected results. Will be looking for alternatives for 2016 taxes.
