Walked though a new status (retired). Filed and came up with an error and now it's waking me through that. We're both getting exercise today but I feel confident and in command with the turbotax product providing guidance.

Unable to skip e-file for state form. Had to go in and navigate to print it myself. Some questions during the procedure were questionable as to what the software was really asking for.

Federal product was mediocre, much the same as last year. State product (New Mexico) was abysmal. Very little information appears to flow from Fed to State return and there's virtually no help at all in State product.

I would rate higher, but a couple of improvements would help: - automatically ask for IP PIN during filing with an explicit 'Skip' or 'no IP PIN available' - automatically ask for Schedule C/S (cant remember which) information when entering 1099MISC

It worked, and the job is done. It would. Help if the button at the lower left was in a consistent place on the screen. It moves with the length of the screen. So it is always jumping around as i try to review the return.

Too expensive for a download product. For this much money a tax expert should be included. Offer a tax software product designed for seniors, who have largely different tax issues. Also you need to include free state e-filing for one state!

Very good for entering data. The transfer of data from federal to state had a software glitch. It would not automatically transfer public retirement pension (firefighter) to the state form 4884, I had to manually enter it on the worksheet.

You are using AI! Should be able to upload entered information to online account after entering on desktop application. State filing fee should be waived for first state since everyone ha at least one state to file in.

The format changes from last year are not good. The program jumps around. Adds topics that aren't selected. Skips parts and tells but will say you missed something. Very disappointed.

I appreciate the simple interface that enables me to file my yearly taxes (relatively) painlessly. The little improvements to the way the software works with me in each version do not go unnoticed!
