Great experience with Turbo Tax. I will be honest with you. In 2023, I was having difficulty with the module to physically pay for the California state e-filing option. I had issues going from your app to the Turbo Tax payment app. It was frustrating and time consuming. I ended up trying to contact your organization by telephone but apparently did not reach you. Ultimately, a hacker got through to my computer and created a big problem for me. That experience caused me to switch to H&R Block for 2024. However, the style of the software wasn't as good as what I had been accustomed to expect for all these years (decades actually). So, I switched back to your product and was very satisfied with it. Especially the seamless paying for the California e-file option with my credit card. Am back to being very satisfied with your product. Great accuracy, features are great, guidance continues to be excellent. Interfaces improved per my discussion above.

It's a pretty good product. I've been using it for many years. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because I wish TurboTax had a message center where I could ask questions through the message center or email instead of having to take time out of my work day to place a phone call. I don't have time for that. Messaging or email would be much more convenient.

Expensive, constant nagging and intrusive upsells of services and options during preparation. Product and company now use AI and have LLM AI embedded in products. LLM AI is not safe or secure and no PII or private financial data should be allowed near it. Parent company paid for ending federal tax filing program leaving few options for people to file taxes.

TurboTax made it very easywas to complete our family taxes. Clear, concise and accurate. Very compatible to our software and appreciated the ability to transfer last year's turbotax submission information into the current year, saved quite a few steps and time. Being a longtime user very pleased.

Need to have someway of preventing duplicate downloads of tax data from investment firms. I accidently downloaded my info twice and it set up each download as a separate taxable event. If I wouldn't have caught it, there would have been double the income and gains . Not a good thing !

It's a great program and fairly easy to use. With the help of an AI you can easily solve more complex problems that would have caused you to consult a tax authority previously. My big complaint is the redundancy of filling out information when you file. Instead of offering to let you review last years filing instructions you have to re-enter account and routing numbers... and if that isn't annoying enough, you are forced to do it again when filing the state taxes!

i wasted at least 2 hours due to problems with the software. we file a married joint return. tried to e-file, asked for AGI for myself and again for my wife. i put the same AGI, but e-file rejected, said her AGI was wrong. huh? why is it asking each of us for the same AGI????2025 awful product!!!!! this is just one example, got several others.

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for almost 30 years and Trust their program totally. The help topics and guidance are step by step and very easy to use. The software is very user friendly! By-the-way... I am almost 76 years old and if I can do this, you can!!! :)

I’ve used Turbo Tax (TT) for 20 years and have really liked it. This year, TT took a step back due to the new interface for entering investment data (1099-INTs, 1099-DIVs, 1099-Bs). In my case, my wife and I both have our own investment accounts so I’m switching accounts often. However, many of the new screens don’t have account numbers on them. I was often confused as to which account I was working on. This confusion led me to accidentally enter my capital gains twice, which caused a large increase in my Federal Tax Due. Fortunately, I saw and corrected the error. I used to develop software for a large company. Your new interface is poorly designed. I recommend that you rip it out and go back to the previous interface. TT has added a number of marketing messages: offers of various professional services to help you do your taxes, offers to upgrade TT to a higher-level product. Whoever is in charge of TT needs to understand that maintaining its quality and ease of use are most important for maintaining its market share.

I didn't like being told after the fact that i would be charged $100 and $40 as a maryland resident for a refund transfer service. I also did not like that very sensitive and confidential information was being shared with some unknown company (santa barbara tax products group). I trust intuit but have never heard of santa barbara.
