Disappointing that retirement planning was not available when program was issued. It would have been nice to have that information available to help decide on the amount of RMD to take on IRAs to determine the taxable income and brackets. Another area that needs vast improvement is when entering individual sales of stock. When you need to enter multiple entries with the same stock from different quarterly purchases of dividends and then their sale you are unable to copy and paste the stock description. Typing each entry when there are 50 to 75 entries is both unnecessarily tedious and frustrating. The rest of the program and entry is fairly straight forward and easy to use. I have used Turbo Tax for many years without any other major criticisms.

Well I try to send my taxes by e-file and they rejected it saying they needed my wife Ruth AGI. No where did your program ask me for my wife AGI. So why do they need it, if they don't ask. And why did they want my wife AGI when we are filling as joint filling. I put my wife and I AGI in the space from my 2024 tax return that I did on Turbo Tax program, but they still rejected it! don't understand. You need to fix it for me.

NOT SURE WHAT ALL YOUR UPDATES TO THE PROGRAM WAS THIS YEAR BUT....the 1099 R info was a freaking mess. We have 2 pension account 1099's and one IRA 1099. The pension info that you requested was the most confusing mess I have seen using Turbo Tax since 2000. Finally today 2/27, after working for hours to input these accounts, I had to delete one completely, add it back in and the magic wand waved over the whole thing and the stupid questions disappeared. Also sometimes I would click on an information box and nothing was there.....is anyone checking their work? I am 80 years old, if this keeps up I will not be able to work through Turbo Tax to do it myself. INTUIT, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

I've used TurboTax and other software intermittently in recent years. TurboTax's step-by-step guidance is the best of any product I've tried. I do wish however, that I did not have to buy two separate versions to do my personal and partnership returns.

I have used TurboTax for many years. The last few years I have done standard deduction. Each year you make it more complicated. Please fix this. Please quit trying to sell me thing and stop doing it after I say no. I'm this continues I am going to pay someone else to do my taxes.

The worksheets were easy to work with, and the review at the end was very helpful. However, after running the complete tax review, the program told me that everything was good and that that there no errors, however, my tax return was rejected because "the date of birth entered by the spouse on the "Sign Your Return" screen does not match the date of birth information that the IRS has obtained from the Social Security Administration." The date had been correct throughout the filing process, but there was an error in the "sign your return", that was not checked by the program. Therefore, I had to resubmit the for and pay the filing fees all over again......

Good for the most part. The version for Mac OS has some issues with some message boards popping up where you can't see the bottom of the page. It can't be moved or re-sized, so you can't see any buttons or wording because it's below the bottom of the screen. It doesn't happen with the main TurboTax window. For example when I tried to import a W2 in pdf format it wanted me to log into TurboTax. I tried to cancel but I couldn't because I couldn't see the bottom of the screen. These are not huge issues but they are very annoying! I finally gave up and logged into my TurboTax account. Not sure why I needed to log-in just to import a pdf from my own computer to a TurboTax version right on the same computer.

MEDIOCRE SOFTWARE: SCREWED UP WRITE OFF OF UNCOMMON EXPENSES... DID NOT PROVIDE DEDUCTION--- EVEN THOUGH "TAXPAYER IS ALLOWED UP TO $$$ OF WRITE-OFF" WHICH REQUIRED SOME WORK AROUND ONLY GETTING BACK $131--WOW!! AFTER ENTERING MORTGAGE TAX INFO. CREDIT PROCESSOR GLITCH AT END ALMOST TRIED TO FORCE ME TO PAY AGAIN..

This may be my last year using TurboTax. If Intuit takes TurboTax to Online only next year like they they are, I will go to another product like TaxAct who says they will ALWAYS offer a standalone version of their product. I have been using TurboTax since 1984 with Version 1.0a so this is a huge disappointment. Intuit's choice. Standalone version and keep Customers or Cloud-based only and you've lost a lot of people like me.

I refiled my Wisconsin State taxes after receiving a message that my State return was rejected. I was told an update was coming on February 13, 2026 regarding how Wisconsin handles Wisconsin retirement income. I did the update, refiled State, and was rejected again. I am resubmitting on February 14. Now we'll see. You should have had this ready to go BEFORE February 1st!
