Software works well enough, but pricing is really unfair and close to misleading. Misleading because IN ADDITION to paying more for the deluxe version that includes one state tax return, at the very end user finds out it will then cost an ADDITIONAL $25 to e-file that state tax return. This surcharge should be more clearly and prominently displayed before buying this from TurboTax.

This was the more frustrating filing ive had sice using Turbo Tax. It offered instead of using my computer to do all online however it wasnt importing any of my info from my account so what good is it. I went back to my computer program and did it as usual and got it all imported from saved returns, I attempted to have it downloaded from my turbo tax account however it wouldnt do that either. I dont know what the issue was this year but frustrating. I even tried to just print my state return instead of eFiling it for $25.00 and instead of only printinig the state as requested it did federal also, which I didnt need to print.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with how TT handled how the process to receive my refund was handled Using a third party to conduct the transaction is quite disturbing. Just another data base to have my information and possibly mis-handle and wind up in the wrong hands Extremely disappointing! Will be shopping next year!

I've used Turbotax since 2004 so generally, I'm pleased with the product. However. In doing my taxes presently. I get to the place where I've entered all my income, I know that I'm going to be better off using a standard deduction, \but TurboTax does not give me an option of choosing standard deduction. at that point. One must go through all of the deductions and and then finally it tells me to use the standard deduction because it's better for me. That is a problem for me as it takes time that is wasted..

Had to eFile 3 times (so far) because AGI didn't agree. WHY? Should have been pulled from last year's return. Many pages are not intuitive. Entering a Form 1099-B was a nightmare! The Back button didn't allow for easy corrections. Not everything was entered from last year's return. Automated help system didn't return information I needed.

As usual Turbo was fairly easy to use. However, i encountered a loop in the logic when entering info from a part of my income that had capital gains. After I entered the info from 1099-DiV portion including other boxes beyond lines 1a & b and 2a, I had difficulty navigating to enter addition data from Form 1099-B for ST & LT Broker Transactions. It keep sending me back to confirm my capital gains distributions on line 2a. I played with answering subsequent questions to get me out of that loop. In past year filings this wasnt a problem.

I have been using Turbo Tax over 30 years. I am a retired accountant, and I find Turbo Tax the easiest way to do my taxes. Never had a problem with the program at all. Just follow the programs direction and you are good to go. I highly recommend it.

I did not use live expert, but I did have an issue when I needed to pay for filing my state taxes it wouldn't accept my credit card if it expired past August, thankfully I had another card that expired in July, but anything past August the system would not accept, that is a definite flaw, but as far as the tax program I am a fan, I have been using it for over 25 years.

Several snags this year, one of which about a Canada account, which I replied that I did not have one, but it continued in questionnaire. After downloading investment information, kept asking me to review interest and dividends and interest which has been entered. Keeps indicating that I own Lake County property, which I have never owned.

I have been using Turbotax for at least a decade, but the one thing that annoys me every year is having to re-enter my ID information (drivers license) as well as my bank account information. Turbotax carries all sorts of other things forward, but I have to manually re-enter that every time. Especially with the bank account information it asks you if you want to use the same bank account from last year and when you say "yes" it basically just ignores that and asks you fill it out from scratch again anyway. And to add insult to injury, it asks you to enter it a second time... oh, and you want your state refund in the same account? Of course... just enter it a third time. Everything else, like your address, kids, etc. it will present you with what you entered last time and just ask you to verify it, but not that information. I've gotten used to it, but it's still very annoying.
