Although Turbo Tax generally works well, this year (tax year 2025) I found it unacceptable that the procedures for filing Federal Form 5695 were not available until 1/29/2026, 3-4 days after the IRS began accepting returns. During this time I kept receiving emails from Turbo Tax stating that the form was ready to use with step-by-step instructions, but these emails were incorrect. Turbo Tax needs to be fully functional when its customers are ready to use it. The fact that it wasn't ready on time, even though it claimed it was ready, has reduced my confidence level in your software.

Your program is bugged when it comesd to ticket sales. I followed all the directions and received confusing forms to "make the numbers add up". I posted on your message boards and luckily someone walked me through the process to get around this and report them properly. Please fix h 1099-K process for companies like SeatGeek for next year, i.e. explain what you need to be taxed on and what you don't.

i have been using Turbo Tax now for many years. I have found the product to be very interactive, informative and well produced. I think that the makers have put a lot of thought into making it better every year and have included all up to date and relevant tax information for us as users to use and get the results we are all seeking and that is to get our tax returns done in accordance with our tax laws. Kudos to Turbo tax for this excellent product.

tax penalty for ira distribution has a software issue. I contacted my services and they said the numbers were correct, however the internet says there is a software issue. I got to file my state taxes and can't more from there it keeps asking for me to change state...another software issues I can,t just print my state taxes and mail them...it says print and file (E)...I want to just mail then I already paid for both fed and state

I love TT and have been. using it for several years. It seems like this year you were pushing a LOT of different options and add-ons, like doing it online rather than desktop, getting live help, etc. You have to realize that that just overly complicates an already complicated process. The screens, especially the opening screen, look much "busier" than they need to be. Make the options very simple and straightforward. Also realize that a lot of your users are seniors who like to stick to what they already know. For them you should make what they already know EASIER to use. One other thing... as I was transmitting, the program crashed. It just kept spinning on "transmitting," and I was kinda freaking out. Wasn't very easy to locate a support person quickly. Make that phone number EASY TO FIND for emergencies. Turned out that it wasn't really a big deal, but for a little while I was really worried about what was happening. Daniel was very helpful. Might help to put up a list of common situations, like what to do if the program stops responding while transmitting.

Too many errors in the program. Can't print state returns and can't get the link to work that will notify me when I can print it. Had to wait to install numbers in the 1099R section and that link to notofy me only sent me to a form that wasn't relevent. The program for helping with donations is now missing, That was always extremly helpful in tha past.

The tax experts were very helpful although I had one of the questions that did not fully explain what it meant and the experts could not find the problem. I was able to answer the question differently and the income went into pensions instead of other income. Problem solved! Thanks for the help from your team!

I am most unhappy with the changes in the product--no "It's Deductible", cannot review forms before filing (yes, I read the instructions, but preview is not an option unless the return is open an you cannot open the return until it's filed--had to print. I made an error initially reporting a 1099R as a 403 B-it was not and I corrected, but the form kept citing an "error" for simplified method which is not what this is, and the correction that was input multiple times did not stop Turbo Tax from asking for info that was no part of the 1099 R. Also tax returns saved on the computer would not upload from last year, so everything had to be re-entered. As a long time Turbo Tax user, I am very disappointed in this product.

I'm trying to print out the Estimated Tax Vouchers for 2026 and I have DO NOT FILE FORM NOT FINAL on them. I have tried accessing all of the Help topics but cannot seem to find the answer. My 2025 return has been e-filed and accepted by IRS using the Online version, but the forms are still showing this warning.

Good program. Help is among the best I've experienced. One annoyance is that when saving then exiting, the temp file that starts with ~ does not close and seems to restrict working on the next TurboTax session. I've had to delete the file before continuing.
