I don't like how it tries to sell you something frequently. Also don't like one of the options that gives you option to buy service or return later to buy - makes you tell a lie to move forward - I had no intention of coming back to purchase. I pay you for the product, I resent the continued sales after I bought the product.

I choose Turbo Tax mostly because I don't have to enter all the data I entered before, and I am familiar with it. Generally it is helpful and clear. Sometimes the check for errors functions do NOT adequately explain the concern when one is identified. But mostly it works well.

The last couple of years (at least for TT2024 and TT2025. I have had trouble signing into my account and also efiling my return. The program itself is great and I have used it for many years (nearly 20). I don't plan on switching, but you should do a better job.

The Turbo Tax customer-service representative that helped me was very helpful and provided the best customer-service experience I ever had with Intuit Turbo Tax. She helped me load the 2022 Turbo Tax Premiere Software and I was able to get to amending my 2022 Tax Returns. The next representative that helped me to find all the appropriate forms to fill out, guided me throughout the entire process and is very customer service-oriented as well. She guided me throughout and was able to successfully amend our tax returns. Service provided by your representatives exceeded all my expectations. Thanks again Intuit for the help provided by your knowledgeable staff and will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family to use Turbo-Tax for their tax preparation needs.

I have used TurboTax for many years... but this year has been a struggle. I don't think it was ready for use when they rolled it out! I keep getting the message that forms are missing and I need to reinstall the software. I did re-install it one time, and I am still getting the message. I also had a problem with entering my tax info. As I was entering 1099-R info, I noticed that the tax total wasn't changing. The forms still said they needed to be reviewed when I was complete, too. I ended up having to delete the ones (that were carried over from the previous year) and re-enter it. Had I not noticed, my taxes would not have been correct when I filed. I just submitted my 3rd return as e-file, and a message popped up that I had reached my e-file limit of 5 returns! So, I am sure that is going to be a fight when I try to submit my other 2 returns that I have left to file. I have been less than impressed with TurboTax this year. I may be switching next year... I just need to see how big of a headache that is first.

Some of the changes in how 1099s are entered are confusing and less clear than in previous years. I have multiple 1099 -INT -DIV -R and the process of getting the data into the system was confusing. Simplify and clarify, don't change just for change sake.

This product was very difficult to use. It wasn't a matter of just answering the questions when asked as in the past. I have multiple computers where I use Turbo Tax and it was very difficult to download the product to subsequent computers. Each computer we had to have help with. For deductions, in particular donations - what happened to It's Deductible? That was the best way and seemed the fairest way to evaluate your items donated. In the past, you entered how many of each item and the program would calculate and then add all items together for a total donated on this particular donation. Now we have to calculate the value. I am very seriously considering using a different product next year after 30+ years of using Turbo Tax or it's predecessors.

Michelle had the patience of a saint. She researched how to assist me with my Mac computer before I was able to screen share. She was able to get me back into the software to make corrections and stayed with me until it was time for me to file my return. She was so polite and reassured she could help me.

The online help is useless. I needed to make corrections to the Missouri return in regard to Turbo Tax incorrectly transferring data from my federal return. I could not do that. I deleted MO tax return date, but as soon as I started a new return as suggested by your AI, the old date was filled in again and I was blocked from entering the corrected data.

I've used Turbotax since 2004 so generally, I'm pleased with the product. However. In doing my taxes presently. I get to the place where I've entered all my income, I know that I'm going to be better off using a standard deduction, \but TurboTax does not give me an option of choosing standard deduction. at that point. One must go through all of the deductions and and then finally it tells me to use the standard deduction because it's better for me. That is a problem for me as it takes time that is wasted..
