For the Federal return the interface is great, guidance and help topics are great, and the import feature is terrific. I have used TurboTax for many years but never the online version, I like the desktop version. I trust TurboTax to help me get the return right an to be accurate. However, I always find the state return to be odd and sparse on detailed explanations but that could be just me.

I did not get ahold of any of your tax experts this year, because I constantly got pressured to buy more product, pay for a tax expert, etc. It seems all Turbo Tax wants is more and more money. It used to be that when you purchased your Turbo Tax product, you were done. I wonder if all the problems with the programming this year was to get people to pay more money to get answers to the problems that were caused by your company.

I had trouble with Turbotax and the very beginning and at the very end of the process. In between it was vey user friendly and helpful - I particularly liked the examples & sample situations to help guide me. At the beginning I couldn't even create an account - because evidently the software picked up a 30 plus year old account that used my same email ! I had to call live support to figure out how to even get started.... Then at the end of the process - I wanted to e-file my Federal return (refund to me) to get it faster - so I could pay for my State return (I owed money) paper file it later closer to the due date of April 15th. But the software options didn't match / work to do this without me calling live support again to sort it out & trick the software options to do it... very frustrating at the beginning and end of the process.

I have been using for 20+ years. All excellent. I don't know what happened to the 2025 version. Full of changes causing glitches; I answered all questions and the answers were not populated on certain Forms 8606. The IRA/RMD calculations were not clear, etc., etc. It took me more than twice as long to be able to complete and finish. I was not a happy camper. Did Intuit respond nationally to explain what happened? I am wondering if 2026 will be the same. I may be trying out another service if Intuit doesn't explain what happened to all it's users. While it's more convenient than filling out taxes manually, it is still extremely frustrating to use. Some of the questions are phrased for accountants. There are also some simple autocheck features that it doesn't use, for example I received two W-2 forms (pieces of paper) because I worked in two states, but Turbotax did not recognize that they should be the same form with two state lines.

I've used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years, and it is great. Very comprehensive and essy to use. One comment is that it put a 1099-MISC amount into a Schedule C (business) which it should not have (I had a business in the past but not this year). It took a while to figure out how to correct that, but I got it.

I do not like online version as it does not show me my tax or credit in real time. I note in desktop version there is a typo on "Person on the Retun Worksheet" bookmark of the generated PDF, where r is missing from Return. Very surprised to see that from a well known company.

I have used TurboTax for years. Intuitive and helpful. What took a day or two of plodding calculations now takes a few hours. Missing items are easily found and displayed. Tedious information is saved from year to year, so it does not need to be entered repeatedly.

Used web version of turbo tax last year(2024). Used local install (windows) version for filing 2025. I switched back to the local install because the web version was full of bait and switch pricing. And other lame issues. No useful documents could be found on Intuits website/portal/account (my account) for tax year 2024. Zero. Long story short I now have to mail both federal and state instead of E file. Is the dev team for the web version of turbo tax still run by a bunch of fourth graders?

I have multiple accounts with Schwab and Morgan Stanley. The new screen for entering financial institution 1099s listed the multiple accounts but did not distinguish between them by displaying partial account numbers. It was confusing and frustrating.
