This year's version of Turbo Tax seemed "clunkier" than last year's. In particular, is trying to enter my quarterly tax withholding figures, some of the language was misleading, indicating some kind of "additional" or deferred payments. Not sure why you changed the terminology. When I reviewed my return, the quarterly amounts were clearly recorded....also, some of the questions regarding my 1099-R information wanted RMD amounts; again, a little misleading/ambiguous. No RMD's were required for pensions but the interview language could be improved. Thanks.

This was the first time I did an online download. It was terrible. It could not find my old returns. It had 3 or 4 accounts with my name on them. I ended up having to type in everything (name, DoB, and All my investment companies, payer id etc., again. Initially, downloads for T-Tax updates was slow and painful. A friend of mine recommended Tax Slayer, but I had already invested too much time and money with your product.

Everything went okay for the most part. I tried to use the "online" version which was fine until I tried to e-file. It would not work. I also could not get a print copy to mail. I used my "desktop" version and it worked fine. (After I re-entered all the previous data). Overall a good experience.

I could not import any w-2 forms electronically or manually with images or PDF documents. It was very frustrating. Turbo Tax seems more interested in up selling features than improving and securing the tax returns. Why is there fee to a file the state return? I've using this product for over 10 years and this return was very frustrating.

I took a star away because I found that even getting to the correct place to download Turbo Tax Deluxe was made more difficult than before, as you push the free version at the top of the page which was distracting. I was a bit confused when entering info that the transfer info or upload option was dominate. I figured it out, but it wasn't seamless. Seems this should be easier as time goes by, not more difficult.

I inadvertently forgot to enter my Social Security SSA-1099 information on my 2024 return and had to file an amended return. I was surprised and disappointed that the TurboTax software did not catch that discrepancy when i had a Social Security SSA-1099 in 2023.

Still the best, user-friendly tax software available. I do hope you keep the price down on it. i don't like that Turbo Tax discontinued the cd. I preferred them because I was secure in my information being stored there if I didn't store everything on my laptop taking up memory. Changing to Word 11 this time was fine I guess, but I had to get a new laptop to get and use Turbo Tax so that's something I don't want to see happen often either. Thank you!

After 15 years of falling for this useless software, I keep coming back. 15 years ago I requested that TT at the VERY least define the difference between CSRS and FERS annuity tax payers, that has never happened. This year is no different. And this year this garbage software locked up tighter than frogs outtie while transmitting my files. YES THE LATEST GD UPDATE WAS INSTALLED!!1 garbage software

The help on Turbotax is horrible. I asked CoPilot questions and got much better and quicker answers. Example; Where do i enter state estimated income tax, where do i enter QCD. I also have found its much harder to find where information on my return came from. Would be nice if you clicked on the amount in say line 4b it would take you back to where you entered that number. I have been using Turbotax since 1997. Long time. Plus the $40 processing fee isn't nice. I might start mailing in my return. Someone is making a ton of money on the process fee.

Have used TurboTax for many many many years. Very disappointed this year after they got rid of the It'sDeductible feature. That was important to us and removing it caused much frustration, and much extra work that would not have been required in the past. May not need TT Deluxe in the future if this feature is not included.
