I was supposed to pick a date for when my cc would be charged for my federal taxes and no option was ever provided. After e filing the federal return, no further options for filing my state return was provided. I did not choose to e file the state return and there was nothing further listed for doing so after the federal return. your feedback option also sucks, I can't use a nickname someone else already has????

Upon completing my return an error was generated when running Smart Check function. Necessitated a call to Intuit. Operator (Regina) reviewed the issue and after brief review offered suggestion that ultimately resolved the problem. Appeared to be a software glitch which was resolved (Form 1099-R) by additionally entering the Gross Distribution amount into box 16 to override the error.

There are so many things to like about Turbo Tax! Most significant, is the ease from start to finish! From loading the product, to directed guidance about required information all the way to filing. Oh, and should you encounter a problem there's help! Do it yourself, save money, we count on it every year!

The accuracy was perfect, all imported data was exactly what was shown. This version of TurboTax is the best yet in terms of ease of use. The process to download the software to my machine was a little confusing. Step by step instructions would be useful for those who do not download software frequently. The guidance through each section of the process is excellent and facilitates minimizing taxes due. The only reason I did not give five stars was because there were numerous times the software was "Not Responding" taking several minutes to come back.

I've been using turbotax for over since 1984 or '85 and it continues to evolve downward. This is unfortunate but true. It is more awkward now and the constant prompts to upsell are a PITA. Also more difficult to look at individual forms than in the past.

The changes made from TT for downloading instead of providing a disc was different. I realize that was a business decision because it costs money to produce a CD instead of making customer do a download from their computer. Once the download was done there was a LOT of UPSALE that was not necessary. TT should really stop that because it is quite annoying. Just saying.

TurboTax is straightforward to use. I did not have to use an expert for help. There is a problem with the K-1 form entry section. I was unable to enter all the countries on the K-1 form that I paid taxes to. I could not figure out how to enter the other five countries listed, and the last country listed was "Other countries." That category had the largest amount of revenue and taxes, but there was no choice in the list of countries for that category name. The reason my Trust controller did that is there were 18 countries that just had small amouts of revenue and taxes, some less than a dollar, so they combined them all together.

I've used Turbo Tax for about 10 years now. It has always been helpful in getting my returns complete and accurate in a reasonably brief period of time. I had one problem this year that I couldn't figure out how to deal with. It took a bit of time getting past the automated help line (hence only four starts), but when I actually got to talk with a real person, she was VERY helpful, friendly and accurate. So I still think very highly of TT and of her help.

IF I could give it a zero, I would. I overrode the state tax amount to input the actual tax amount and not the amount of taxes withheld. Turbo Tax could not handle it. Then, Turbo Tax would not allow me to file the federal tax return electronically, due to this. That's just stupid. And a waste of my money in purchasing this program. It is stupid to have to pay income tax on a state tax refund in 2026 when your tax bracket may be different that it was when you deducted the tax amount withheld in 2025.

The Federal portion was fine. The State (Mississippi) portion needs some work. There were a number of sections that were not very clear about what was needed. For example, it trying to ask me for income earned from two investments - both of which were the same one with a slightly different name. It took a while to find how to delete one of them. There were others, but I don't remember now what they were. Unfortunately, I didn't keep notes on that which I know isn't much help. Sorry.
