Normally TurboTax is great and it still is Except for one issue. Your program FROZE up when I was about to print my AZ tax return. I had to use the Task Manager to END the program because it FROZE up. Other than that the program was great. But I'm now going back to it, to see if there was anything else to do.

We were unable to skip the state. When we clicked continue, TurboTax made us select a state. We live in Washington State, which has no income tax. We finished our filing by selecting finish state tax later. We couldn't get rid of Washington State. We bought the 2025 TurboTax Federal & 1-State, so that our son, who lives in Washington State, but works in Oregon, which does have income taxes, could use our TurboTax to complete his Federal & State taxes. If we're forced to buy another state package, since we couldn't skip selecting a state when we filed, that not right! We also struggled with out-of-country out-of-country social security. We had none in the states listed, but were forced to fill out info for Canada or delete, which we deleted. Not well explained either.

Entering the RMD should come before entering the 1099-R information. I had 2 1099-Rs from the same account and I had to redo the entries because the RMD was asked twice and became erroneously doubled. The work-around was to enter zero RMD for the second 1099-R.

I have used Turbo Tax desk top for many years and have found it excellent. This year it was a little more difficult than prior years due to the updates being slower than usual to come through and a quirk regarding the 1099Q. However, I will remain a loyal Turbo Tax user, and the price is very reasonable.

USED IT NOW FOR SO MANY YEARS. THIS YEAR I WENT TO DO IT ONLINE VS THE APP ON MY IPAD AND THEY DON'T SEEM TO TALK TO ME ON THE APP NOW? YET MY INFO CAME IN FROM LAST YEAR.. WHY WOULD THE APP NOT PULL UP THE NEW RETURN. VERY INCONVENIENT. DO BETTER. NO REASON FOR THE DISCONNECT TO THE TURBOTAX APP. TSK TSK

Turbo Tax just isn't improving. This is essentially the same product I stared using in 2013. I used AI this year extensively to answer questions (and even flow) that TurboTax should have answered. I also used AI to find deductions that turbo tax missed!! TurboTax is vey much like Quicken. In it's day, it was great.

This year was a breeze to install and set up. In years past the download process was very aggravating so this is plus. Keep it up. My return is simple and for convenience I e-file my state return but I think $25.00 is outrageous for this service and I nearly elected just to print and mail it in.

We've been using TurboTax for almost 30 years now, in six different states, with zero difficulties on either federal or state returns. Never got audited, even when we had some more complex filings. Choosing to let TurboTax go through everything often got us to remember certain one-time items that were important for the return. Keeping a pdf copy at the end has neatened up our storage - no more piles of paperwork (we pdf our receipts and expenses as well), and can readily keep everything sorted by year.

Absolutely garbage. I tried to edit my data by deleting a1099R input. It showed it deleted but when I went back to re enter, it was still there. After 3X I gave up. Wasted the $50 I spent and had to go online (different version) to redo my taxes ($78 purchase) NEVER use them again. Shame because this is the 5 th year I used Turbo Tax so it was easy to pull up my personal data. Don’t waste your time with this crap.

TurboTax would not open. Had to take to a computer place who said my Webroot anti-virus was blocking it. Webroot has never blocked it before. So I talked to Webroot. I don't know if the issue was really theirs or Intuit's, but they uploaded some logs and said the following: "Thank you for the logs. We did find several Unknown determinations for AMD files which are not directly related to TurboTax. We reviewed the MD5 hashes and marked the files as Good to stop any monitoring we are performing while the applications are running." "When convenient, can you restart your machine and spin up TurboTax?" Whatever they did fixed it. It said the AMD fiIes were not really related to TurboTax, and this is a new computer, so I don't know if it's really due to Intuit's app. But.....
