I've been using Turbo Tax for some years now, and the experience has been great because it is easy to use and it walks you through the process when entering all the information required. I like the explanation that provides for each topic if I have a question it explains the reason of why I may come with a doubt. This software is great and very accurate with the new changes we may face every tax season.

i have used turbo tax every year for the last 20 years! made the mistake of listening to a friend one of those years who tried to convince that H&R Block would get me a higher return. I ended up explaining more to the preparer on how to navigate and enter information in to their tax software which was no different only to get the same amount and I paid MORE for them to do it! Never will make that mistake again! I'll stick with Turbo Tax :)

My experience was awesome. My nightmare turned into a blessing because I had an excellent Trained professional who guided me for over a long time, was extremely patient with me and solved my issue with grace and compassion. I will research to see if i can find her name. She deserves a raise...

The worksheets were easy to work with, and the review at the end was very helpful. However, after running the complete tax review, the program told me that everything was good and that that there no errors, however, my tax return was rejected because "the date of birth entered by the spouse on the "Sign Your Return" screen does not match the date of birth information that the IRS has obtained from the Social Security Administration." The date had been correct throughout the filing process, but there was an error in the "sign your return", that was not checked by the program. Therefore, I had to resubmit the for and pay the filing fees all over again......

The program interface remains familiar over the years, so doing taxes is quick and easy. The amount of upselling to the online version and to their "experts" is OVER THE TOP! I will be looking for an alternative to TurboTax next year, as I am sure other programs are equally good, and don't have the upselling.

On the whole, it worked well. It did not, however, ask me if I wanted to apply my refund to next year's taxes as it always has in the past. Also, I initially tried the online version, but it would not let me transfer my data from last year's return. It told me the file was corrupt even though I could open and close it with last year's desktop version and had no problem transferring the data into this year's desktop version. I am unhappy that I ended up paying for both the online and the desktop version.

every year i try to use turbo tax to forecast my with holding at the end of the calendar year. so i buy the full priced edition in november but it never is complete so I overpay as later offerings are 10- 20 dollars cheaper. you should sell it as a partial solution, as it is shady business practice.

This was the hardest year I have ever done with this product. Been using for over 35-40 years and never had the problrms I had with this. I was offered to do on line but had so much trouble I went back to he desktop version. Had the same problems but staped on decktop because it was easier. Did a very bad job of transfering from last year. Then I got ripped for the state and filing. I use Quicken and Quickbooks so I hope this doesn't mirgrate over to your other products.

The process of creating the return documents was very easy; the follow-through was my issue. My initial return was rejected for an IP PIN issue, and the initial directions from TurboTax were not helpful. The software should redirect to the problem, rather than expecting the user to find the forms that need attention themselves. Thankfully, the online tools on the TurboTax website helped me find what I needed, but it took nearly 10 minutes to identify and correct the issue. The software taking me directly to the problem would have saved a lot of aggravation and time

I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years, and for the most part it has been excellent. However, I struggle every year to figure out where to enter some foreign income (a pension) and the tax paid on it. This time around, I ended up having to reinstall TurboTax 2024, open up my 2024 return, and follow the steps there to see how I had done it. Eventually, I had to switch to forms so I could study all the worksheets before I was able to complete the taxes paid portion (a Form 1116 needed to be created but not submitted).
