Unfortunately, this no longer supports Windows 10, and it now requires Windows 11. I didn't know that when I purchased it. I had to buy a new computer just so I could do Turbo Tax. Also, it wasn't able to correctly handle having multiple 1098 forms for my mortgage. It didn't know how to handle the loan being sold to another company, and it didn't correctly handle the loan amount because the loan amount was over the $750,000 cap by the feds.

Remind people that when you automatically upload Investment data it does not overwrite what you manually input. It creates another form and if you don't catch that you will be overpaying your taxes. Clear out any manually input investment data and then do the auto upload.

When I put in the information for my rental for the year, the program didn't take into account that I only offered the rental for 31 days. I had to enter the expense amounts only for the month that I rented this. The program asks for the number of day the property was offered for rent but does not use that in the calculation.

After 15 years of falling for this useless software, I keep coming back. 15 years ago I requested that TT at the VERY least define the difference between CSRS and FERS annuity tax payers, that has never happened. This year is no different. And this year this garbage software locked up tighter than frogs outtie while transmitting my files. YES THE LATEST GD UPDATE WAS INSTALLED!!1 garbage software

The process of adding the personal IP PIN number from the IRS is NOT well covered in the software's guidance. I went through the trouble to find it from the IRS before I began doing the taxes with TurboTax. I expected that at the appropriate time (getting ready to do the e-file) there would be guidance from the software to take me to a prompt and allow the opportunity to input the IP PIN. That didn't happen. It took the IRS to reject the return first before I knew that there was a problem, then had to trouble shoot how to fix it. That should not have had to happen. Fix it.

I have relied on TurboTax for many years and have consistently found it to be accurate and thorough. The software has effectively identified and addressed any potential errors or omissions, giving me complete confidence that my deductions are correctly entered and that all required income items are properly reported.

I only had two issues while using this year's turbo tax. One was my own fault; I didn't see a place to enter my estimated taxes paid for state income tax in the state portion of Turbo Tax. Finally, went back to where I entered the federal estimated taxes and saw it there below the federal. The other issue happened when I tried to enter my credit card information to pay for e-filing the state return. I was unable to see the button to continue and enter my credit card information once I had entered my name and address. After checking for an answer online, I was able to use the Tab key and blindly found the right number of tabs to hit the continue key I could not see.

I've been using turbo since 1998, for a person who is afraid of doing your own taxes this product is for you.It saves everything from year to year which makes it easy to do each year by pulling up what you need the next year. If I can do this, then anyone can do it

I found this year's version much more difficult to navigate vs prior years. Entering 1099 info was confusing and I ended up with duplicate or extra entries. I have been using turbotax for over ten years and will probably seek out other software for next year.

This was the first time I did an online download. It was terrible. It could not find my old returns. It had 3 or 4 accounts with my name on them. I ended up having to type in everything (name, DoB, and All my investment companies, payer id etc., again. Initially, downloads for T-Tax updates was slow and painful. A friend of mine recommended Tax Slayer, but I had already invested too much time and money with your product.
