After using Turbotax since the 1990's, this is the first year I was disappointed. I had non-resident income for Michigan, and I was not able to download any of the tax forms for Michigan. Federal and Illinois tax forms were ok, but I will need to consult a tax account to finish the Michigan income tax

You've got to fix your bugs and reduce your e-file price. Spent 2 hours with support to buy another state return. Also, you claim free federal e-filing and charge $40 and $25 per state for e-file. We are living in 2026 where submitting things electronically is the norm. Charge more for the product and less for the add-ons.

Entering RMD's and QCD's was quite difficult. I replied Yes to knowing I am subject to RMD's and I entered my required amount. There was NOT a direct question asking if you had QCD's - I finally answered a random question about inheriting a Traditional IRA that led me to entering QCD's. It never asked me if I took all of my RMD!!! It would have been nice since there is a 25% penalty for the amount you don't take. Turbo Tax found an error with the QCD and was ZERO help in fixing the problem. I'm still not sure how I fixed it! Entering new 1099-INT's was difficult until I finally figured out their new format for doing it. Doing my Arizona taxes was, again, difficult - just a bunch of questions up front that didn't make any sense! This is the 2nd year in a row that I couldn't file my state return electronically.

I have used TurboTax for many years and have always found it to be accurate, efficient and most helpful in guiding me through any tax question or situation. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel confident about filing a complete return and maximizing a potential refund.

I like turbo tax. It is logical. It is easy to understand. The auto filings are great. I have used for over 20 yrs. I have recommended to family & friends in the past. This year however, you took away "its deductible" from the non-cash donations. This feature was very important to us. Instead, I had to go in copilot and research the FMV price to estimate the value. It took 4 times longer than using "its deductible." The package that I bought with the turbo tax code inside states that the software will help with estimating the values. It clearly did not. Next year, I will probably buy your software again. I will research other software packages to reevaluate my prior choice. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH TURBO TAX.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and each year the application walks me though the process in a systematic way which allows me to compartmentalize my documents in a more organized manner. Turbo Tax takes the computational process and effectively populates all the necessary forms and tables which enormously simplifies my tax preparation.

For the past two years, Turbo tax will not upload my previous tax forms. I had to load it via PDF. for the past two years when I start a form and I save, it will not reload again. then I have to start all over. This year, I cannot print my forms after I filed. It is so frustrating. I am afraid I won't be able to retrieve my once I shut down, when I was trying to pay for my state return, It would not accept my car expiration month.

We have been using Turbo Tax for 10 plus years because it is simple and easy. I am an average person with a simple vocabulary and I was able to follow along every step of the way. There were optional explanations for each entry if you needed further information.

Still the best, user-friendly tax software available. I do hope you keep the price down on it. i don't like that Turbo Tax discontinued the cd. I preferred them because I was secure in my information being stored there if I didn't store everything on my laptop taking up memory. Changing to Word 11 this time was fine I guess, but I had to get a new laptop to get and use Turbo Tax so that's something I don't want to see happen often either. Thank you!

I purchased the Windows software. The install pushed me into using the online version and it was disjointed and not what it made it sound like. It wanted me to pay extra for efiling state returns and then deleted the state return. I had to use the windows software to complete and print the state return.
