I initially entered info on dividends, then the program asked for IRA info which had the dividends so my income was two times and TurboTax didn't flag it. I manually set all boxes to zero or blanks on the non-IRA dividends section. The program insisted, at the end, to enter the TID number even though all fields were zero or blank. Recommend telling users to not enter dividend info if it is from an IRA.

This is hands down the easiest tax software to use on the market! Not only does Intuit provide ease of mind, but it also removes tedious guesswork. I have used TurboTax now for the fourth year in a row and couldn't be more satisfied with how effortless it seemed to do my own taxes.

I've used TurboTax and earlier versions, later acquired by TT, for over 40 years. Every year it gets more user friendly. It has always been accurate. The user interface improves every year. I really appreciate being able to import the prior year's return.

It is easy to use until the end. We e-file Federal returns easy. But if we do not want to pay to file our state, it is like being punished trying to find what needs to be mailed in with return not easy instructions. And heaven forbid there is a city return to be filed and mailed in. I had to go back into my returns to find additional documents after re-reading instructions. When we ask for ALL necessary documents to be printed to file, why are they not ALL printed?

Product has "strangeness" and inconsistencies in the sequence of things. No apparent access to 1099 form edits - hidden/obscured Edit and Delete icons; 1099-SA contributions belong in Deductions section (not Income section) and 1099-SA distributions belong in the Income section (which comes first), so put the form edit here . Presentation of different types of 1099 forms is different between form types (1099-R v 1099-INT and DIV). 1099-INT and -DIV should be separate groups with summary pages (like 1099-R) for quick review/access. Importing data should be the option, not the default. Perspective: I have 16 1099-R, -INT, and -DIV forms. It took a full 4 months to get a stable reasonably up-to-date version, yet updates keep coming with no explanation of what has changed. All this confusion brings into question the accuracy of the outcome.

I have been using turbo tax many years and loved it. This year that turbo tax caused me a lot of problems . I have reached the electric filing and it will not let me file because the zip code of the payer on one of my form 1099-R documents has a zip code that is not compatible with electronic filing. I am now trying to figure out what to do. HELP

I have used Turbo Tax for over 25 years and have had no issues. Until now,, you have deleted the donations estimating schedule which puts a large burden on a preparer to complete donations. Please bring it back in 2026. I am an annual subscriber, if 2026 donations are not returned I will look for another software going forward.

There is a bug with Turbo Tax. After completing a fifth tax return, it was initially rejected. But even though I fixed the error, the system counted the rejected 5th return so I was not able to re-transmit. So now I have to mail the return and am seeking a refund of the $25 e-file charge.

The accuracy was perfect, all imported data was exactly what was shown. This version of TurboTax is the best yet in terms of ease of use. The process to download the software to my machine was a little confusing. Step by step instructions would be useful for those who do not download software frequently. The guidance through each section of the process is excellent and facilitates minimizing taxes due. The only reason I did not give five stars was because there were numerous times the software was "Not Responding" taking several minutes to come back.

Have used TT for many years now and i like it ... as it make a non-accountant comfortable doing their our tax returns. One thing this year, my return recognized my income 1099s for my 2024 return, but was unable to open them up and and provide my 2025 data. I had to generate them as all new 1099s and delete what TT had recognized from the 2024 return ...??? but got through it.
