I'm so frustrated that next year I'll be looking for another product. It keeps asking if I want to e file state return when I owe $23. Why would I want spend an extra $25 to pay $23? When I get to the end it says I haven't selected anything to file.....I don't want to e file. I just want to mail it in, yet there is no instructions as to what to print and what to include. I had to go outside of TT and google it. I could have done ten returns for the time it took trying to get it to answer a simple question.

This year, TurboTax would not import last year's returns from my computer. This was annoying and cost me extra time. I know you want people to use the online version. I do not want to use the online version. I realize Intuit could take my data through the software anyway, but I am trusting you not to do that. I am likely to continue using TurboTax and I would be pleased if you would restore the ability to import from one's own device.

I have been using Turbo Tax Home & Business, and now Deluxe, for well over 15 years and it keeps getting better! I really appreciate the way it guides you through each section with very through explanations when you have questions. I have never had any issues using the software and have confidence the calculations are accurate and all situations are covered. I highly recommend it.

I've used TurboTax for many years. The 2025 version seemed to have more issues than previous versions. I had to use AI extensively to answer questions. I also had to use help and community to answer questions. I feel like this version was not well tested/vetted.

I bought the deluxe download version and believed that one state return was included - as advertised. I was surprised that I had to pay an additional $25 to E-file the state return. Also, I wanted to revisit my 2024 version of Turo tax (on my Win 10 Machine) but I was stopped at the software update function. I could not skip it and when I said ok to the update I received errors. This did NOT occurs with other past versions of the software! The software worked, therefore a 4 rating.

I didn't like the compatibility this filing season. I have my investment accounts through Fidelity and it seemed like things were missing. For instance, the foreign tax and income. If Turbo Tax can read my account to see my transactions, why can't it read the foreign tax I paid and my foreign income? Furthermore, I feel like there should be more companies that are compatible with Turbo Tax. Is the Intuit team doing every thing they can to be in sync with mortgage companies? Banks? Credit Unions? etc.?

I have been TT user for more than 15 years, always using the Window version on my Desktop computer. I have always highly recommended TT to all of my friends and others. But this year, I am greatly disappointed on two issues: 1. The Hour Glass icon next to an entry on the 1040 used to show the list of items making up the total shown on 1040. But this year, when I did that on line 3a, it would not give the individual entries making up the total shown on this line. 2. My attempt with your support staff was not good. She could not tell me why the number shown is higher than what my 1099-DIV numbers add up to. After much time, she advises me to delete all of my current 1099-DIV forms, add up all of them to a single artificial 1099-DIV and enter the numbers! I rejected that solution. During this process, my screen share froze many times, and I had to go to Task Manager to end the TT process and then restart TT! 2. Finally she transferred me to your experts. I connected with a Darren, TT Expert. We also had trouble in screen sharing - froze many times. But I highly recommend Darren because he was able to help me find the source of the problem. 3. I had lots of problems getting past your very structured & rigid auto phone response system. 4. I also had problem trying to locate the Community Support page to p[ost a question about this issue. In the past this was always so easy!

PRODUCT IS GARBAGE. YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING SNAG MESSAGE FOR 2 YEARS. i HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR OVER 20 YEARS WITH OUT AN ISSUE. BECAUSE OF THIS i WILL USE ANY OTHER PRODUCT WHICH DOES NOT STOP AT THE END WITHOUT BEING FIXED. THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME/ MONEY ADDITIONALLY THE COST OF MAILINGS. i WILL DO MY BEST TO WARN CUSTOMERS NOT TO USE YOUR PRODUCT.

Received a notice from TurboTax that I needed to amend my state return. Tried following the emailed directions using my purchased TurboTax desktop software and I could not imagine it being more confusing and counterintuitive. Never actually successfully amended my return because the desktop software sent me in circles trying to fix an error TURBOTAX CAUSED. Printed a brand new return calculated by TurboTax and crossing my fingers it works. Absolutely ridiculous. Switching to another company effective next year.

I don't know what you all did to turn Turbo Tax software into garbage. I have been using the program for more than 10 years to do my mother's taxes, and it was always very easy. I used for the first time the scan feature for 1099-R's and once scanned much of the data did not appear. I started the old fashion way before scanning and the boxes on my forms did not match up with the template to enter information. I did the State Taxes, and she has never owed State Taxes and now all of a sudden, she does. I'm almost now forced to have a professional tax preparer look this mess I have over!
