The only issue I had with this year's software is when I went to print copies your forms are all PDF's. When my pc converted them to word documents, the cells and boxes where numbers were to go didn't line up, so now my printed documents aren't really good documents to look at.

The font needs to be larger both in the main areas while using, and very much larger when using the help and further explanation drop downs. It would be helpful to have an automatic Save File prompt periodically while completing the return, as it can be open for quite a lengthy time. Or at least a prompt to save manually periodically.

Step-be-step entry is very useful. User interface is nice. If necessary, I can jump to a specific topic or form easily. Product is updated with the latest Tax laws and is very accurate. There are hardly any bugs, and the software is updated routinely. This version meets my needs and complexity of the tax return.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Generally it is pretty good. I am finding that as the years go by, the people making updates are unnecessarily modifying the user interface. This is quite confusing, as it is almost like I have to re-learn the product every year. There is NO NEED to modify a user interface simply to make it "more cool". What is the absolutely necessary bug that needs to be fixed on the user interface? Why are you rearranging items that were in a very understandable order into something that is unnecessarily complicated?

Using TT for years now. Very satisfied with it except for one issue. Year after year I have trouble figuring out the Arizona charitable carryover. TT has all the info from the last year, but I have to enter it manually and figure out which form to use. This should be automatic. That is, unless I'm doing something wrong. If so, someone please let me know!

Guidance PA State mail-in filing has 2 annoying issues: 1- PA Schedule D as printed does not have Digital oval for Yes or No filled in, even though the corresponding field in the "Forms View" is marked. I used a pen to fill in the oval. 2 - You need to repeat the instructions to send the REQUIRED paper or FAX copies of Detailed1099-B forms for gains/losses in printing instructions for filing. The instruction is sort of incidentally mentioned during filing procedures, but is very hard to find later on. Try it!

Turbo Tax crashed and lost all my history. My previous year saved document did no populate history. I've been doing this since 2016. 2026/ taxes 2025 was very frustrating and different than what I'm use to. Said internet price was free, but wanted to charge me after filling out documents. I used desktop version like always.

TurboTax is easy to use as always. I completed my return in less than two hours and have just submitted the efile. I especially liked the new feature that pulled W-2 data from a picture of the paper form. It worked very well and saved quite a bit of time over entering the data manually and double-checking it. So overall, it was a very familiar, fast and even enjoyable process. I have been a desktop/Windows TurboTax user for 20+ years. I want to register a complaint, and it is a big one. I am one of the many Windows users who was forced to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 in order to install and use TurboTax this year. I strongly object to this, as I was planning on running Windows 10 through the end of 2026 at least, and possibly longer. One app should not force an upgrade to have to be performed before your customers are ready to do so. I'm sure that Intuit has heard this same complaint thousands of times already, so I won't belabor the point, but I will reiterate that I didn't care for this in the slightest. Bad decision, Intuit. If I did not have to upgrade to Windows 11, I would have given a five-star rating, but I simply can't do that. This review process does not have a way to separate that complaint from the overall user experience, so I have to downgrade my rating.

Normally a great program this years version is clunky, it ask if you have a 1099G but doesn't give you a way to enter the dollar amount, the button isn't there just the line telling you what the button would do should it exist. It felt like AI was used, some of the wording was confusing (I'm have a English degree).

I spent a full day getting just the software up and running. (This was the case the previous two years too.) The interface was clumsy too and not intuitive: It felt like a work in progress. I found myself relying on the forms rather than following the step-by-step sequence. At the end, I had to reboot the program just to transmit my taxes electronically .
