I had several problems getting the proper answers because the amount of money for 2025 was only about $400-$500 more than I made in 2024 but I was told that my tax total was about $2300 more and I would owe nearly $2000. I got in touch with Tiffiny and there were several multiple choice line changes made because I didn't understand the choices.I ended up with a 41900 refund. I never had any problems in previous years. but this years Turbo tax was not user frendly.!

Was enrolled in the plan that autobuys the new year every year, but did not know that you discontinued support for Its Deductible mid-year (after I had been entering stuff into it all year). Why would you cancel a tax product mid-year?! I wouldn't have renewed if I'd've realized you got rid of it. And to do that without telling me is even worse. In addition, my initial return was rejected because of not including the right number of Form 1116. Isn't that what the software is for? To determine which forms to file? How can you check the return for errors, then not include the right forms? I resubmitted today, after an update, but this is ridiculous. You determine which forms to include, not me, and you apparently did it incorrectly. How can I have any comfort in your software if you screw up basic things like that? I will be moving to a different provider next year, after being a loyal user of Turbo Tax for decades.

My return got rejected. Why? It was because I was missing my IP PIN. There is a reason I do the step-by-step filing, so I don't miss inputting any information. ADD IT IN! I need to be able to file my taxes in period of time and not have to go in again to "correct it". I might as well do free file with the IRS. What is the point of your product.

I've depended on TurboTax for many, many years and have generally found it easy to use and reliable. This year it required more intervention than usual to import data from my financial companies (I had to manually enter many line items. Not sure what changed, since the hardcopy from my main import looks identical to previous years.

I've used turbo tax online for the past 10 years, but this year, I believe I will go elsewhere as this "download" is NOT available to use online %26 the online rates have become ludicrious - "in person rates" for doing the work yourself online. This SHOULD BE an e-mailed "code" that can be used "online" so you don't have to have space taken up on your harddrive AND so you can log into the intuit - turbo tax online account to retrieve your taxes in the future. @samsclub - make this a redeamable code to use online vs a downloadable program to your computer to INCLUDE electronic filing of federal %26 state returns %26 audit defense. I gave a 3 star due to turbo tax being a great tax program (5 star) but 1 star due to the downloadable email code (previously a CD) AND all the "extra fees" for audit defense, electronic filing, etc.

I am a long-time Turbo Tax user. I find it very user friendly and have recommended its use to many of my friends. However, this year we had a problem. the IRS found a calculation error on the Social Security deduction which resulted in them taking off $231 off our expected return. Also, apparently IRS is no longer sending checks for refunds - so our refund was delayed because I needed to set up an account with them and furnish my checking account information.

I am not happy with this version of Turbo Tax. I feel it has tried to force me to use the online interface. The option to request a check upon e-file isn't there? I really didn't want to let the IRS into my bank accounts. If this company doesn't stop trying to force the online option and tax experts on me then I will be going back to filing on paper or use a different software that is not trying to control me. Oh, and the Windows 11 only option was really not a smart choice. Looks like, your company got the "invasive Microsoft's concept" about controlling everything that gets near the software which is out of control.

I originally began using Turbo Tax on a Dell PC back in 2006 (for Tax Year 2005). Two years ago, I transitioned to a MacBook Air. I have since noticed that the Mac version of Turbo Tax seems to be more cumbersome to navigate and the text is smaller and harder to read. (My opinion is that the original program's conversion from PC to Mac is sloppy.) Also the elimination of being able to purchase the program on a CD is disappointing. (Downloading the digital version is way more complicated than it should be...given the current technological advancements that are being made.)

I have successfully used Turbo Tax for many years, but not this year. I had problems with Turbo Tax accepting my IRA information regarding my RMD. I appeared that other people were having the same problem. Based on information from "Help" sources I was able to fudge my input to get Turbo Tax to accept my data. IRA RMD calculations are a simple problem. I'm not doing that again. I'll be deciding if I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.
