I entered in all the information and E-filed my taxes. It was first accepted by the IRS then later Rejected. It turned out that the TurboTax program was not accurate. They gave me a message to resubmit my taxes after 5 more days while they fixed their problem. Then my refund was adjusted down without any way to inquire why. No easy way to figure out why my tax refund went down.

I spent several HOURS trying to delete a blank K-1 that appeared days ago, and it even kept coming back after deleting it including on the final screen to E-File. This is a common issue according to web reports. The Reviews topics don't seem to workk properly!

I have used TurboTax for many years... but this year has been a struggle. I don't think it was ready for use when they rolled it out! I keep getting the message that forms are missing and I need to reinstall the software. I did re-install it one time, and I am still getting the message. I also had a problem with entering my tax info. As I was entering 1099-R info, I noticed that the tax total wasn't changing. The forms still said they needed to be reviewed when I was complete, too. I ended up having to delete the ones (that were carried over from the previous year) and re-enter it. Had I not noticed, my taxes would not have been correct when I filed. I just submitted my 3rd return as e-file, and a message popped up that I had reached my e-file limit of 5 returns! So, I am sure that is going to be a fight when I try to submit my other 2 returns that I have left to file. I have been less than impressed with TurboTax this year. I may be switching next year... I just need to see how big of a headache that is first.

It's great, as long as the interface remains consistent. Also, the frequent long updates are becoming an issue, especially when an update fails if you forget to open the program as an "Administrator" in Windows 11. Otherwise, everything's still fine.

Overall very good experience. I've been using TurboTax for over 25 years. This year I found one issue that was frustrating - entering the interest and dividend information myself was not simple, it required additional steps. The program seemed to want to force automating the procedure and that was frustrating.

Dude, how many add ons are you going to stop me for? You stopped me AFTER my taxes were filed to ask me if I wanted to sign up for another money pit. This was after I submitted a complaint about you pushing me to the online filing site where I would lose a $10 credit in the small print.

Software crashed 4 times during normal data entry. Minor data loss when it crashed. Too much up selling. Was asked too many times to upgrade/addon. Asked and answered multiple times. Explanations not clear at times. Thank goodness for AI tools from 3rd parties.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed to have been offered the subtract from my refund option vs. credit card. Credit card option was $40 LESS than the Turbo Tax way of bamboozling more money out of its customers - and for what? I will be looking at another service next year.

Online search was bad. Could have been how I asked the question. l though I tried using keywords to direct it. Online or AI allows for no deviation to find anything. Either you use the exact vocabulary the system knows or forget it. Not all people have college degrees. Called and got a wonderful person to help me. She helped me get my taxes transferred.

OVERALL IT'S WONDERFUL. HOWEVER, HERE ARE SOME POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS IMO. 1. DON'T REQUIRE US TO WAIT ON UPDATES EVERY TIME WE START THE PROGRAM. DO IT AT THE END RIGHT BEFORE WE FILE. 2. CARRY OVER THE INFORMATION AT THE END FOR BANK NUMBERS, DL'S, ETC. THAT LITTLE BIT OF INFORMATION IS A PAIN TO ROUND UP EVERY YEAR. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE, WHEN YOU GET OLDER AND YOUR WALLET/CHECK BOOK IS UP OR DOWN THE STAIRS AND ITS THE SAME INFORMATION AS LAST YEAR. I STILL AM A BIT UPSET YOU COULDN'T ISSUE A WINDOWS 10 VERSION. I HAD TO BUY A NEW COMPUTER JUST FOR THIS BECAUSE OF WINDOWS 11. MEANWHILE I HAVE TWO WINDOWS 10 COMPUTERS THAT CAN'T BE UPGRADED BUT WORK PERFECTLY AND DID SO JUST LAST TAX YEAR. I'M $600 POORER JUST TO DO MY TAXES WITH NO NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE AND STILL USE THE SAME SECURITY SOFTWARE.
