I was not as pleased with TurboTax as normally I expected this year. I am a CPA and normally have no issues with the software. This year required answers on lines that did not require answers. I actually prepared the return twice to attempt to bypass some of the requirements. The program generated a penalty for something we had no control over. I generated the return without the K-1 (results, IRS owed us,1,250) and then with the K-1 (we owed the IRS 9, 676 with the interest). I only received the K-1 on 3/20/2026) Your calculation for the nonpayment of Interest seems.

At the place where it might be possible to list donations to worthy causes, perhaps add another step. It would say...How much total did you donate? We'll see if that will make a difference in your total tax. If it does, then you can enter them, one by one. If it won't make a difference, then you can avoid that fairly tedious step.

Love TurboTax. I have used it for years. It is easy and walks you through each step. When you use the product year-after-year, it populates information and compares from previous year of filing. The product will alert to errors and determine your risk. Love the ability to download from financial institutions, so you can rest assured that the information is accurate. It removes the stress of completing taxes and makes the process much easier.

I have been using TurboTax for many years now. I am generally happy with the product. However, this year I thought the process of leading me through the return was not as easy to use as previous years and that some of the information I entered in response to queries did not end up on the necessary forms. Had to go back and add later.

Always helpful using Turbo Tax, except this year I had to upgrade my laptop as I was running on Windows 10. It is a welcome change, but delayed me filing my return a tad. Other than that, Turbo Tax is always super simple to use and a great tool to know my taxes are filed professionally and securely.

Using Turbo Tax is easy. They guide you through every step of the way. They breakout down in sections and provide specific explanations where you may need more info. I have used Turbo Tax for 15 years and always had a pleasant experience using the software.

I don't like that the state e-filing fee isn't included in the state preparation cost. Should be bundled together. I always use the interview flow (instead of the forms based flow) and sometimes TurboTax forgets where it left off and I have to repeat steps.

I have been using TurboTax for over 20 years. The uniformity of the process is important as is the ability to go step by step or reference a specific area. I appreciate the accuracy of the data and I can compare the new report to the old reports. This compatibility to previous years is important. Sometimes the features of TurboTax change but it is intuitive. I prefer my interface to the product on a desktop computer. One of the features I use is the e-file system with direct deposit.

Your new user interface is totally unacceptable. I will never use Turbotax again unless you go back to the old user interface. You caused me about an additional 10 days to get the data manually into the forms with some belief that the data was somewhat accurate. I'm still not 100% sure. You turned an exceptionally good product into something that is terrible at best. I don't understand why you did such a stupid thing.

TurboTax 2025 is just awful. It is essentially the same interface from the past 10 years, but with updates to SOME of the requirements. But Intuit no longer puts effort into keeping TT up to date. It does not address important tax issues. The help is non-existent - unless you pay more. They try to nickel and dime you on every decision. This is absolutely my last year with TurboTax. It has been degrading for the past 3-5 years, but this is the WORST.
