Drives me crazy as usual

Turbo Tax always drives me crazy and I curse it every year. So: Why do you think I have a Canadian Pension Fund and force me to delete it. Why do you lump a whole lot of income under 'Pension' which are NOT pension. It makes double checking my entries more difficult.

software problem

There appears to be a software problem with Turbotax 2025. While trying to file my energy credit Turbotax wouldn't allow me to put in my street, city, state or zip code. I also tried inputing this into the form. Still Turbotax would not let me do it . Then, when checking for errors Turbotax identified that the address was missing and would not allow me to e-file my taxes.

$60 Expert Help

The best part was communicating with Turbo Tax helpers - Jeremy and Maria. There were parts of Turbo Tax 2025 that just didn't seem user friendly, but then again maybe it's because I suddenly became 81 years old!! And changes in technology happen so often. So...I paid $60 to talk to the experts. Thank you.

fix the obi

Your software needs a refresh. There are too many times when forms are labeled untitled and included when not needing to be completed. also, qualified business income and deductions needs to be cleaned up. since a person's name appear in the name for the business it gets really hard and nearly impossible to know which business is under the drop down options of NAME NAME NAME or NAME. all being identical!

Turbo Tax consultant Kashe Emma is a SUPERSTAR

I have been using turbo tax for close to two decades. It's easy. However, this year I had an issue transmitting my return. I called turbo tax and spoke with Kashe Emma. She was so kind, helpful and understanding. Not only did she help me, she reassured me that everything would be ok. Her calmness helped me calm down. Kashe is a real gem. Her customer service is excellent. She truly is an asset to your company. She deserves a pay increase. Give her a pay increase.

More Ads and Less User Friendly

I use Turbo Tax because I have used it for years. I feel like the in app ads get worse every year. Several prompts to try to get me to upgrade or add on services during the process. I paid for the product I needed, I don't want more ads from you during the process. It also seems less reliable than before and doesn't seem like it wants the lowest assessment automatically. At one point it assessed a penalty and then asked if I wanted to do more work to see if it applied. Then it asked me to enter information from last years return to determine it should not be assessed. WHY? I used Turbo Tax last year, I imported the file at the start of the return, the application had everything it needed to make the right choice without me having to look up and manually enter my info from last year. Also, you need better feedback when external imports fail. When attempting to bring in information, it kept telling me to check my login info. Finally I went to the institution and figured out that I needed to enable third party sharing on that side. It would have been useful if the error message said "If you are certain you entered your information correctly, check your account settings to ensure third party data sharing has been enabled." Additionally, the same section does not make it easy to link multiple forms (like 1099-INT and 1099-DIV to a single source when entering them manually. It only lets you select one and says it will ask you about the others later, but it doesn't and then if you try to enter them as an "add" it doesn't let you pick the previously entered entity. I feel like the product is not as reliable as it used to be.

Turbo quality was less than I remember

- Was not able to pull into previous taxes from competitor tax assistance software - Help was so-so in help area; pretty much generalized info, has to research myself; I guess it is a way to pay for more service. - Cheaper than the competitor software - When did you remove the free State Filing feature? Argh!! Well at least you filled the forms for me.

Turbo Tax 2025

I have used Turbo Tax every year and it is always very easy. I really like that you now can gather all my tax forms from my financial institutions! Can you please add a step where you can show the tax form with the standard deductions so we don't have to bother collecting and entering detailed line items for deductions? That would be outstanding!!!

Extremely disappointed with 2025 Turbo Tax Deluxe

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with 2025 Turbo Tax Deluxe!!! In previous years past, I have ALWAYS been able to e-file my federal return at no cost.... only the cost of purchasing the program. Filing for the 2025 Tax Return, I had to pay $40.00 to e-file PLUS the cost of the software!!! Why is that???

Turbo Tax too dumbed down to be helpful

The UI increasingly the last few years but especially 2025 is getting difficult to follow, especially as regards to certain incomes and deductions. Example 1099-DIV, one wishes the same investments reported on the same line with explanation but especially if one allows automatic download it creates "new entries" that are not well detailed. Also the option to go form by form on certain things like business expenses and certain costs just is difficult to get to and find. Not liking this app at all anymore. Used to love it.
