I did use the Live Expert to review and correct the errors that I made which fixed the problems that were identified in the review process. She was very detailed and it took over 2 hours but the end result was complete resolution of the errors. Turbo-Tax has always be a productive application for me. I have used it for several years.

I downloaded the desktop version which I've always used. I was then prompted to get the on line for free. The problem is I already paid for the desktop version so its very misleading and lead to a long night. I would have had to purchase the state for an additional $60 to get the "free" on line turbo tax. I'd already submitted so to do. my state taxes I had to redo them on the desktop turbo tax and then paper file state to avoid paying an extra $60 on top of the $80. Big rip off and might never use turbo tax again. Get it together TT and don't be so greedy!!

I CONSIDER MYSELF A NOVICE TAX PREPARER AND WITH TURBO TAX, I DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ACCURACY AS IT PROVIDES SO MUCH GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS. TURBO TAX HAS SIMPLIFIED MY LIFE.

Turbo Tax Sucked this year. I have used Turbo Tax for 6 years in a row and this is the 1st year that I had to enter all of my information manually. It would not import any of my docs and it was a pain in the butt!! Plus I had to buy a new computer because it will only run on Windows 11. Not Happy!!

To some extent, TurboTax seems to have gone downhill, but that may be due to the emphasis on doing work online (which I won't do). Given the complexity of the tax rules, Turbo Tax does a good job of walking through the items. However, it didn't properly import last year's documents, a review of the paperwork showed I had to go back and clarify something, and filing electronically require shutting down and restarting (unsuggested). Help is now online and not particularly useful.

I've used Turbo Tax to prepare my husband's and my joint tax return and our son's return for several years now. I've never had a problem with it. It' direct and to the point. The guidance is so easy to follow and the accuracy i perfect. The only problem this year was may desktop cannot be upgraded to Windows 11. Thankfully my husband's could.

I have been using TurboTax for over twenty years. It is aways accurate and easy to use. I do take two issues with this edition for 2025. I object to your requirement for Windows 11. It is unnecessary and a burden for those who are already using Windows 10. We all use anti-virus and other protections and this just seems like a windfall for Microsoft that you are assisting. Same for having to print from Acrobat. I don't remember having to do this before. I could save to Acrobat, but print from he page. These are two really bothersome changes.

Sadly, an error slipped past your QA and created a return that was not accepted by the IRS. It was impossible to find a way to report that error or to determine if it was being addressed. Finally, a few weeks went by and a message appeared in the software that a delay in filing was suggested to allow time to correct that error. It was finally addressed and the return was accepted. Not your usual product reliability.

Far too many and confusing and somewhat redundant screens regarding INT and Div. The section re: IRA would not let me check the IRA box for my IRA RMD so I had to select Other in order for my taxes to be completed and E-filed. Didn't make sense! The import screen for financial institutions was also confusing this year and I had to try many times to get connected and the data downloaded. Other than that most of TurboTax was as easy enough to navigate

For the third year in a row, both Fed and NC returns were submitted electronically but REJECTED after TurboTax reported that they were error-free. The problem each year has been that the fed return expects information from a Form 1095-A. I don't know why -- we have never received such a form. We do receive a 1095-C. Your questions about receipt of RMD are confusing and misleading, and perhaps inaccurate. They imply or state that the entire RMD was paid 31 December 2025, and that is not correct. Many people also receive RMD's in June, and 31 December is not the payment date for December. Too many questions ask for information that has already been entered.
