I have tax forms from Canada and each year it is difficult to find where these tax forms are to be reported. Although there are some support answers, to my questions about filing Canadian forms NR 4 and NR5, I always feel that I am missing something that may cost me money. For example: reporting the Canadian Pension Plan amount, and the tax paid to Canada for my annual required payout from my Registered Retirement Savings. It always ask for my Canadian tax return, which of course I do not need to file, therefore, I do not get credit for paying the tax on my RIFF

I depend o0n Turbo Tax. It guides me and helps me compare with the previous year. It is thorough and accurate guaranteed. I was disappointed that they shut down Its Deductible (that was a very useful tool. Overall it is efficient and points me in the right direction when I have a question.

Pre-purchased the deluxe edition and still seem to get hit with fees at the end. Also spent two hours getting a virtual machine up and running so I could use the desktop software I purchased. why I can't use the license in the browser or why "Windows 11 Required" isn't anywhere on the package beats me.

I type in the 16 digit code in the activation page and it does nothing, that is as far as it will let me go. It will not even allow me to exit out, the only way that I can get rid of the activation page is by using the task manager. Turbotax support is useless doesn't know what to do. Google gives more help but that has not worked either. I'm not the only person having problems. I have purchased 2 turbo tax 2025 from Sam's and nothing works %26 Sam's or turbo Tax will not refund. My personal opinion is that That Turbo tax wants to force you to the online Cloud version, because the IRS is pressuring them to have everything in the cloud. Our privacy is being chipes away little by little.

The endless upselling of TT Online is extremely off-putting. You've made it extremely hard to find and purchase this product, and even once I had it, you keep pushing the new product relentlessly, every time I opened the program. If it ain't broke, why fix it? Product is 5 stars; pushing the new alternative is minus 1 star.

The software makes it easy to file taxes and I don't need to spend money on an accountant to do it for me. There were some changes this year to the software that made it a little more confusing entering 1099-B information. For employee stock RSUs, there was no Stock (Employee) option - just Stock (Non-Employee). I also felt like the entering of 1099-B information was not as straightforward this year as in years past.

I used the desktop version that i paid for. It works very well as it has every year. Last year I tried the "free" online version. It was horrible. I had to be a detective to find where to enter certain items and it ended up costing me more than if i had gone ahead and paid for it upfront. The desktop has great guidance and interface.

This year I was looking forward to less taxes due to the tax law changes but, those changes didn't help as much as I expected. I was looking for TurboTax to show the changes on screen like they popped up in previous years. Also, the North Carolina military pension exemption caused some confusion for us with (2) different categories. Overall I was pleased with the whole process. *I was disappointed in the fact that I could not use my Windows 10 system this time around.

I have been utilizing Turbo Tax software for many decades and this program 2025 is the far worst ever program sold by Turbo Tax. I hope you have not hear me using some anathematizing words for the last hour or so. Please make it easier not more confusing. Simply program it to enter information for married couple without going back and forth like entering social security incomes on this software. Do not change things every year to make things more complicated. This year maybe the last year I'm using your Turbo monstrously CONFUSING software. One more thing; instead of asking for state ID- just say state! I thought that I have to use certain state assigned numbers-on estimated tax work sheet. I had very difficult time efiling federal/state files- just for this issue with State ID (cursing words hidden). Streamline program!!!!!

I've been using Turbotax for over 15 years. This year, 2025, I had many problems navigating through the forms. I coudn't back-track to find the location of where a number/amount came from. And one reoccouring frustration: having to back up 5-10 forms, change a value, then continue 5-10 times to return to where I was. I'd like to see a new feature; more information on the review page. Things like "Due to the changes in tax law, you owed/saved $Dollars. You may want to increase your withholdings by this $ amount to avoid penalties." Etc. One more thing, I will never want to do my taxes online, so don't ask me.
