Desktop product interface easy to use with the forms feature. Most points are clearly explained, covering a variety of potential situations. They do a good job with the walkthrough for the most part. It was a bit intimidating the first time (I used to do it by hand and mail when my tax situation was incredibly simple), but this is now my third year using it now that I have a few more considerations, and I'm happy with it.

There was a warning a yellow triangle but it did not tell me what the problem was and they could have made life a lot easier and the BIGGEST PROBLEM i have with turbo tax is that i can not go back to any of the prior year taxes because i purchased desktop and pull up that years taxes!! If you save them and lose the usb you basically have to get a transcript from the irs!! THAT SUCKS!!!

I wanted to use free online version. Even though my tax situation is very simple and my income low, I could not use the free version because I had more than $1000 in interest on a 1099-INT. That is bogus. I will look at other online tax software next year that does not charge outrageous fees.

Used it for several years, very easy to use and i do believe I am getting my best refund. For some reason though, this year, I am getting daily emails 'reminding me' to finish my return. I assume this is a spam or worse an effort to get me to reveal my password. If this is from Turbo Tx, the emails are very misleading. If it is not, you need to find a way to stop them

When I was teenager, before I joined the Army and moved away from home, I remember watching my father do our family taxes. Sitting alone at a desk in the family room with only a cup of coffee and calculator, he was the very picture of a responsible adult and father. Using TurboTax and doing my own taxes allows me to reaffirm, I am my father's son. Thanks for that.

The TurboTax help section was providing answers that were not relative to the questions that I did not asked. This occurred several times and was quite frustrating. I had to call and speak with a Turbo tax advisor to get the correct answers. The program also went blank on me, and I had to restart Turbo tax.

I find TT2025 more complicated, time consuming and less user friendly than previous 32 versions! Also do NOT like having to sign into my Intuit account multiple times and having to scramble for usernames and passwords again. Remember I only use this once a year when purchasing TurboTax. Also TT2025 copied incorrect 5-digit PIN from previous year. Resulted in rejection and second submission with new 6-digit PIN

I have used Turbo Tax for multiple years (10+ years) and never had an issue. Last year i made a mistake and went with a different tax filing company and was severely disappointed. I tried to save a couple bucks by trying a different product and i paid for it in the end. I will allows be a Turbo Tax customer for now on.

The overall yearly experience was about the same. However, when the final chance to pay allowed credit cards or using federal returns, the wording was NOT clear about these options. Choosing to pay the $25 state e-file for California (really $15 - thank you for the extra $10 bump, Costco) from my return triggers a $45 additional payment for "premium services." I spent far too long searching for this and eventually on multiple phone calls to clear this up. I would prefer more transparency: "If you pay with your card, it's just the $15 fee... but if you choose this other option, it will cost you $60 to pay the $15 fee." Additionally, many questions used in the product are confusingly worded. You have to click the help option to bring them up and once you look, it's so simple and I don't understand why the question is worded in this way. For example: 1098-T question: Did (person) take college classes? The answer to that was yes, but the bubble indicated that it was for students who were in high school, so we needed to answer no. For a tax product, that clarity and precision of language is REALLY important. You could make this product better. Please do.

I bought the software in January. The program crashed after updating the first 2-3 times I used it. Once, the program asked to update after I finished my state tax form. When it returned after the update, some of my entries had been lost or changed. I have used TurboTax for more than 20 years and this is the most trouble I've had with the program
