After using Turbotax since the 1990's, this is the first year I was disappointed. I had non-resident income for Michigan, and I was not able to download any of the tax forms for Michigan. Federal and Illinois tax forms were ok, but I will need to consult a tax account to finish the Michigan income tax

I have used TurboTax for over 20 years. This was the worst experience ever!!! The download of forms from prior years was horrible!!! Nothing changed on my end, same banks, brokerage, etc. Ended up doing a standard deduction because couldn't get the simple forms downloaded correctly. Next year TurboTax won't be on my list for doing my taxes. Intuit should go out of business if this is the best product they can produce!

Desktop software payment pop up window cannot be resized nor allows scrolling to reach the bottom of the expiration month drop down menu. It does not allow you to manually add the month or use the keyboard to get past the month October. Rescaling doesn't work because it is a pop up window, not the main window. I can't efile my state return because your software doesn't work correctly. When I attempted to apply the fee to my fed refund, an additional $40 fee was added. Luckily I caught it before hitting submit. Get it together Turbo Tax...

The Turbo Tax software is easy to use and for the most part is extremely user friendly. My only concern is that the software doesn't ask for the IP PIN and when I type the question into the Turbo Tax Help option the program didn't recognize IP PIN and kept asking if I needed to update my personal information.

It said my return was not complete when i tried to do the e-file. i could not find what it was talking about. I juct finally hit continue and it asked several questions. such as i needed to sign it, etc. I answered the questions and it lit me e-file. The comment the return was not finished was confusing. it also wanted to e-file a wa state tax return. WA state does not require tax returns. No income tax.

Everything is great with one exception. My income is highly volital and I use it to tune my last estimated tax payment in January. I am retired. The final sections of software are coming later and later in the year and I have to use prior year software to prepare estimated tax payment. I really need it release and ready before Dec 31.

Usually TurboTax is a great tool for tax prep. But this year it skipped a vital step in preparing my state return. It counted my pension income as actual income without requesting info about its type and tax status. This caused TurboTax to base its calculations on an incorrect income amount and conclude that we owed tax and a penalty. It started to calculate a penalty, as well as estimated 2026 payments, when I stopped to review the entire process. That is when I found the missing screen and corrected the entry. I think TurboTax should have discovered this missing information much sooner!

It was terrific! Didn't like the changes that kept it from installing on Windows 10. Otherwise, it is great as usual. I did not find any errors with calculations. Some features were new, which threw me off somewhat. Did not really need much guidance from help topics, which is normal for me. Program is really easy to use.

I have always loved and used turbo tax. Today I was instructed to download the 2022 software in order to do so. When I completed all steps to file these taxes, I was informed they have to be printed and mailed and I was unable to use the software to do so. I am very disappointed that I spent $80.00 to have to mail my return in. This seems very redundant and a waste of money.

After 15 years of falling for this useless software, I keep coming back. 15 years ago I requested that TT at the VERY least define the difference between CSRS and FERS annuity tax payers, that has never happened. This year is no different. And this year this garbage software locked up tighter than frogs outtie while transmitting my files. YES THE LATEST GD UPDATE WAS INSTALLED!!1 garbage software
