When i tried to file I got a message that the software needed an update first. Gee, might I have not encountered some Turbo Tax glitches had I updated the software. The time to remind the user of updates is WHEN THE UPDATES ARE AVAILABLE. Please also remind users to save their work so they don't end up having to start over when they have failed to save midway through the entry process. PDFs should be available for printing page ranges; TT indicates that can be done BUT the result is ALWAYS the entire document.

Interface is stuck in the last century software designs - uneven navigation, lack of overall consistency and thought-through design, lost of unneeded distractions and clicks needed -- but two product designs are stunning for second quarter of 21st century - - TT destroyed two open returns which I spent hours creating -- without any confirmation or warning!! -- when purchasing another state -- with a single click on an adjacent button (even unexpected on a purchase dialog) - product is missing dedicated AI assistant -- and even integration with ChatGPT -- forcing constant screenshotting and copying back and forth

Need to add back some of the detail screen for example for charitable contributions. Was not asked about basis for my IRAs. Not as user friendly as in previous years. Placing interest, dividends and investments all on same screen not helpful and a pain when returning to investment.

The import feature is awful this year. Software is unable to import my spouse's brokerage accounts from the same financial institution, even though it's different account number and name from mine. We had to manually input trades. Absolutely ridiculous I'm paying for your software and doing so much work.

It gets a little confusing with the the few attempts that turbo tax keeps trying to get people to buy additional services . As such, my daughter accidentally clicked the $45 premium, but we couldn't figure out to back out of the charge. Hence she paid it. Your confusing interface led to scamming the money from us. Yes, whether it was intentional or poorly design customer interface, it was a scam that you were not intitled to have. I expect better from you!

I made a gross error when completing my social security Part C and D withholding amounts, but TurboTax didn't flag it while doing the final check of my forms. Also, the additional filing fees are too much! I already bought TurboTax so why am I getting charged more for just filing a return?

Online and desktop are out of sync. Desktop shows efile accepted but still asking for me to file? Online version wants me to enter all my bank information and pay again to file. Need to get the two programs in sync and ensure the desktop application has updated all sections with efile complete for both State and Federal.

Having been a Turbo Tax customer since it first came out with the disks, I'm somewhat disappointed that Its Deductible has been eliminated. The guided questions in this edition seem to not be as clear and concise as prior years. I'll still use the Turbo Tax but I hope some of the more user-friendly features return.

Thanks for your good employee's like Anila, McKala,, Ttyreon and other's who all helped me thru multiple rejections of my forms.. Biggest problem was Form 1116, foreign tax. That was your problem not mine. One simple input improvement you could make. If you you have multiple income forms like 1099's , don't make me continually have to wade thru to type it myself via unnecessary pages. At the start of the list of income subjects just put a box for each one to denote how you want to input it.

I am less satisfied with TT than I have been. You upgraded the OS requirements to where I had to buy a new computer with Win11. It is pretty slow now. TT no longer will automatically calculate and print estimated taxes. Yes there is a work around to manually override a form and print it individually. So, I have with a lot of consternation made it work. I will file paper forms because I have to mail a check anyway.
