The program was average overall due to the fac that you discontinued ItsDeductible in October 2025. This unfavorable decision caused a lot of problems for those who utilized the ItsDeductible for the year and then had to find an alternative for the remainder of the year. Add to that, only one program Deductible Duck was able to transfer the data from the 10 months that had already been inputted and then add to their program. Deductible Duck did a yeoman's job in being able to transfer the data into Turbo Tax -however there are a few issues with the Form 8283. A lot of manual entries had to be made because Turbo Tax did not allow some of the data to be transferred. I would have used a different program other than Turbo Tax, but due to the last minute decision by Turbo Tax, my only option was Turbo Tax. I find it irresponsible on Turbo Tax's decision to stop a program used by many for many years and leave us hanging. Again KUDOS to Deductible Duck for saving the day. Deductible Duck is a great program for those of us that like to support those in need and hopefully they will be able to have other alternative tax programs we can use in 2026. Turbo Tax has really disappointed many.

Nothing works with Turbotax desktop. Does not accept previous year's returns PDF file despite showing ways to import. Ironically, I did the returns last year with the same turbotax desktop software. Import feature for for 1099 int also failed. Practically I landed up entering everything by hand

I had several incidents where I was put in a loop so this delayed getting my filing done. I also did not like having to pay processing fee the E-file in addition to the 20 fee to file. I don't think I'll be using your software next year. Very underhanded. I just try above to tell you my review and you software wanted me to repeat below. Again, software is not very user friendly, a lot of duplication.

you are no different than the other software providers, if HRB didn't sell my info to Meta, i would still be using their software; you don't allow for a no answer for up selling questions, just 'I'll do it later' type answer choice which i find very annoying please remember no means no

For the second year in a row, surprise charges are being charged for an already paid service or fee filing. Last year I was charged an additional $180 for a simple return, now a bank company want $45 to get my refund. Also, I couldn't e-file because the dash for the employer ID should be a number and there is no room for an additional number (space). Never again will I trust this company. It is too much trouble!

When trying to submit my NY State Tax return I hit a TurboTax bug that apparently has been known about for several weeks but no one at TurboTax bothered to fix it. I buy TurboTax to make filing taxes easier, not to be stopped in my tracks with no way forward. This is the error message "1099-R Box 14a for e-filing New York State withholdings can not be greater than or equal to gross distribution or state distribution" but the message is misleading, first because there is no such thing as box 14a, and second because the number in box 14 (not 14a) is NOT greater than the distribution. It turns out the answer is provided in the TurboTax member chat on the website: Copy the value in Box 1 into Box 16 and re-run TurboTax.

I could not import the data I entered in It's Deductible. I saved the data in October but the file format was wrong. I have used TurboTax for over 20 years, including It's Deductible. Next year I will use H&R Block as I'm told they have non-cash charitable giving software.

This year's program had a lot of bugs in it. It would take me to screens I didn't need to go to, and would require me to provide info I didn't need to type in. I had to keep going to the forms section to delete info I added just to be able to get to the next step. We've been using TT for at least 10 years, and don't ever remember having so many issues.

Relatively user-friendly and thorough. I've been using Turbo Tax for several years so the ability to import info from previous years returns is a big help and time saver. The program covers all normal income sources and available deductions; but, it doesn't always handle special situations. I purchased a new vehicle this year and paid over $7,000 in deductible sales tax. Turbo Tax didn't provide a strightforward way to deduct both the sales tax paid on this big ticket item along with regular, routine sales tax. I had to go to the IRS website and use the IRS Sales Tax Deduction Calculator. Using the IRS calculator was very straightforward and enabled me to get the maximum legal deduction; using the calculator increased my refund by over $800. Turbo Tax should incorporate this feature

I downloaded forms online, it didn't recognize them later when I needed to work on them. I had to download the forms again. One form downloaded the numbers incorrectly. I bought desktop app and went online to do taxes. It was confusing to then get it back to the desktop. If I had finished online it was trying to charge me again for the state product I had bought in the desktop. The last time I used turbotax was in 2022 and it was easier. It does have more features now, but seems like they still need to be smoothed out.
