I have been a customer for many years. Doesn't pay to buy your product early as so much is not available. i like to get things early...unfortunately, you are part of the problem and not the solution. i also don't appreciate how you have increased your add on fees.

I've been using TurboTax for around 25 years. After this year's experience, I'm looking for another method for next year. Your software has gotten to the point that it is more about the marketing and pigeon holing customers away from what they desire that it was a fight to make the software work. I want stand alone software and sadly TT is no longer that option. I spend money on stand alone. I don't really get that and I have to fight to avoid the constant push to force me down a software track I do not wish to go. This is not about the tax calculation. hoping that's still correct. It's about a company model that no long puts customer wishes as a priority. Market to me once and then abide by my decision! Even the TT AI feedback GUI won't let users select/deselect the review topic or submit negative feedback without extra work. TT has decided for me. I've decided, too.

I have used Turbo Tax since the 90's, So it has been good for me to use to do my own taxes, The only issue that I had was they need to show the 60 day rollover of IRA Distribution by check and deposited into another IRA managed by a different fund manager in both state and federal narration. Other than that it was very easy to use and calculations and reviews were accurate. Definitely recommend.

first, I buy the software every year - I files taxes for my siblings, seconds I was having many issues with an error, and it was not fixing it after I inputted the correct information. third I was not able to e-file because I file more than 5 people's taxes even using the online software because their taxes did not need to use the deluxe model! so this year I have to file my taxes my mail...not very happy about it.

It was different than last year. I liked that last year I was able to use the intuit cost for donations, but was not able to download banking information. This year, I was able to download some banking, but they didn't have the intuit cost for donations. I do not like that you have pay to upload/submit your state returns. If you pay that much for the software all submissions should be free. Also, when you had the disk, you were allowed to put it on 5 machines. With the download, you can't.

I found the product at times confusing and nonsensical. Example: after downloading info from my mutual funds, why did I have manually type in much of it, since the all the info had presumably been downloaded? And how to properly account for the foreign taxes credit was unclear, and I'm still not positive that I handled it properly.

Turbo Tax Online was too complicated and tedious. After We were able to complete the forms; We were notified that we could not e-file because our 2924 tax e-file had not been accepted. This was an error we could not get past. We continued filing with the desktop version, we were able to report last year's AGI and our filing was accepted.

Would have been 5 stars, but when attempting to file, product failed validation and I had to wait until another update was available to download to clear. When selecting a tax payment method you don't show the option for paying taxes using the IRS EFTPS system or paying state taxes using my California FTB online account. You make choosing a payment method confusing. I have to select pay by vouchers which I don't use. And, I much prefer using your TurboTax download version.

it was useful software but the transfer of info from stock/bonds info was lacking when it came to digital asset area. Had to go and verify manually whether it was a digital asset or not based on worksheet forms. This was not apparent until digital asset name question and if it was digital asset or not question came up during review phase. Then did not know how to fixed until I went to help center and researched. Some none digital assets stocks were not answered at all. This year was rather frustrating compared to previous years.
