Finally no red40 or any artificial flavors. Far more tasty than the typical nacho cheese ones covered in red powder/dust! And no red stained sticky fingers after either! So good, these will be my go to going forward! Bring out the whole line Doritos!

I have to evaluate based on no dyes, and without certain additives. Being a Babby Boomer/Gen X I will compare these no dye chips with regular Nacho Doritos. I tried the no dye ones with and without my chili cheese dip with jalapeños. Without the dip the chip actually tasted bland and it didn't have the rigid texture of the chip itself. I understand it had no dyes, but it felt the additive they did put on the chips was almost an after thought and not a bold flavor at all. The texture of the chip felt more like a rice cake than a corn chip. They did have a crunch but it broke too easily. When I tried the chip in my chili cheese dip they continued to snap off in the dip, and for me it wasn't cool I understand the company needs to come up with a chip that conforms to the new standards, but in my opinion this was not it. In my opinion if you're going to make a corn chip, at least make it thick enough to stand up to chili cheese dip or salsa. For me, I'll wait for the NEW %26 IMPROVED and try those out, until then it's back to chips with cancer chemicals that taste good and stands up to different dips.

Like another reviewer said, FINALLY. Still not the healthiest choice, but we love Doritos. I was still buying the original Nacho Cheese because my kids love them. 😭 I will be buying these from now on, though. The taste is great. It’s not really different from the regular Doritos. There is a little less seasoning, but that can differ from bag to bag (same as the regular). My teenage son is not a fan of our diet change (cleaner eating), but he hasn’t really complained about these. WIN. So, if you’re on the fence about buying these, try them. If my son will eat them, they’re close enough to the regular.

I opened this bag expecting reasonable, responsible snacking. What I got instead was a righteous nacho experience with a clean conscience and maximum crunch. These Doritos Simply NKD Nacho Cheese chips are like regular Doritos went on a wellness retreat, came back enlightened, and still chose violence (toward my self-control). No dyes. No artificial flavors. Still absolutely coated in bold nacho glory. The crunch? Cathedral-level acoustics. The flavor? Classic Doritos swagger without the neon orange crime scene. The vibe? “I care about ingredients but I still want to demolish half a bag in one sitting.” You finish eating and your fingers aren’t glowing radioactive orange. You feel… clean. Respected. Like Doritos shook your hand and said, “We got you.” If regular Doritos are a muscle car, these are the electric performance upgrade — same thrill, smarter build. Warning: You will say “just a few chips” and then suddenly it’s an empty bag and personal reflection time.

Not 100% sold on these yet. They aren’t bad but the flavor is very muted and probably my least favorite out of all 4 flavors currently available. I think they are a good alternative for sure for people that want the no dye and natural flavors, but for me they left a bit to be desired. May or may not purchase again

Well, they tricked me for sure! Same flavor we love? Not even close. Apparently all the delicious Dorito flavor we love are the artificial flavors they removed for this recipe. I've never been so disappointed in a bag of Doritos. These have a touch more flavor than plain tortilla chips. Absolutely would NOT recommend and will not buy again. I'm guessing the people who taste tested these and told the company they taste as good as regular Doritos must have lost their sense of taste.

Finally! My kids’ favorite snack without harmful additives!!!! They would beg me to buy Doritos all the time, and I would only buy them on special occasions because I refuse to feed them with fake ingredients on a daily basis. If you were blindfolded, you would not know the difference between these and regular Doritos! Seriously, why weren’t they made this way to begin with?? Thank you! I hope this becomes a trend and other brands join in.

Simply NKD Doritos is a good product in itself. Where Simply NKD lacks for me is in flavor. This is a lighter, fresher and healthier version to my artificially dyed and flavored favorite. The taste was good as far as lightly flavored tortilla chips go, but I'm a foodie who prefers to stick with the regular Dorito snack experience. Three stars because this is still worth a try in case you find yourself a new favorite.

I love Doritos, I do believe these are better than the original Their light, extremely flavorful. I must say it was strange to open the bag and not see an orange chip. But once I tasted it, it’s the way all food should be we need to get rid of the dyes and the fake crap lol these are amazing. I will always buy these!

Our family tried these new naked Dorito nacho cheese chips for the first time. We are very supportive of using no artificial colors or flavorings, and we firmly believe this is a step in the right direction, however, this was a swing, and a miss. The chips overall were not bad, but in the opinion of the entire family they were suitable as a corn “dip chip”. but did not have the bold “nacho cheese” flavor we’ve come to know and love. We would never spend this much money on a dip chip, there are other options that are far less expensive. Hopefully the company continues to try to improve the flavor..
