Tried these simply naked nacho Doritos for the first time. The flavor is very mild. Not the nacho cheese I was expecting but do like they are free from artificial flavors and dyes. Feel like they are a better choice so the milder taste will do. They have a nice crunch, no aftertaste, with a light cheese hint.

These are Doritos Light or think of them as a different chip from Doritos. We're Doritos lovers who grew up eating them, but I'd like a healthier choice. I gave them 2 taste tests. First, I tried them when I hadn't recently eaten Doritos. I really liked the flavor of these and could tell it was a lighter version, but they were great! I then tried them with a very thick dip and had no problem, but I think it's all about your technique. If you just grab the corner and jab into a dip it's going to break. If you hold it with a bit more support and scoop, it holds up great. After this taste test, they were a hit! I was right there with all the reviewers who loved them. Yay for getting rid of chemicals in food! Doritos vs NKD - Two weeks later I did a side-by-side tasting, and NKD tasted really bad! It was quite off putting. I tried them both plain and with pico. Yuck! I understood the bad reviews. Some chemicals just taste good. (Dr Pepper) Adjust your expectations and consider them a seasoned nacho chip that kind of reminds you of Doritos, because Doritos they are NOT. Today, on their own, and with adjusted expectation, they're yummy.

just didn't have the nacho cheese taste. i wanted the No dyes heathier version but this one didn't do it for me. Now the Cheese Puffs were Perfect!! I'm hooked on those!!

I was craving Doritos a few days prior to this purchase but I didn't want the dye and other bad stuff in the traditional Doritos. I went to Sam's and saw these and instantly got excited. I was skeptical about trying them before I opened the bag. But to my surprise... awesomeness! I purchased multiple bags since and about to go purchase more. My family and I love these new Doritos. Not the healthiest but better than what was previously available.

These taste exactly like the original so now I really see no reason to get the regular as long as these are available. I'd rather have the chips without anything artificial especially if it tastes the same I kinda wish these took over original to be honest but I don't see that happening. I also like that they are not more expensive as I thought they would be originally, if anything they are slightly cheaper but they are not more expansive for sure.

Take me back to for my former years! Who ever thought of these- thank you! I thought I went back in time to the more original taste of Doritos than I have ever tasted! Everything to the taste, the crunchy-ness to just everything!! The best I've had in for ever!!

Making healthier choices without food, dyes and preservatives. I love chips so I had to get away from them because they were so unhealthy but finding these new ones without any food additives or colors has been really great even my grandkids love them.

My family tries to eat on the healthier end but it's hard when some of the best snacks have Red dyes and other bad ingredients. We saw these and thought to try them since they are red dye free. My kids and I think they taste them same as the original. Four us of tried them and we all thought they tasted great and very similar to the original. I'm happy to support this line of chips since I know it's not causing my kids to eat harmful chemicals. They taste like Doritos and are a healthier choice. The kids were so excited to get them. Thanks for making them available Walmart!

I love these. I admit I may not be the target consumer. I’ve never enjoyed Doritos. Something about their appearance has always thrown me off. Generally speaking, flavor blasted powdered snacks are unappetizing to me. If you eat with your eyes, then that’s been my experience. These NKD Doritos don’t look unappealing to me. And they taste delicious. My kids say they can taste the difference and don’t like them as much (there’s your target consumer). But when we blind folded them they couldn’t tell which is which. It doesn’t matter. Kids are kids and when they the NKD chip in their lunch box it comes back home, haha.
