These are yummy. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE LOOK AND TITE. These are not healthy. Stripping away the orange colored seasoning does not make these good for us. They ARE YUMMY. Extra crunchy. I COULDN'T PUT THEM DOWN just like the original.

I’m glad the food industry is trying to get rid of the color dyes. This tastes very good maybe even more cheesy than the red Doritos. Will buy again for sure.

These are delicious, crisp, and flavorful without all the orange mess on your fingers and chemicals. Why aren’t all food manufacturers doing this? Don’t these artificial colors and chemicals add to consumer cost, besides not being good for us?

Sooo good! Not the exact taste to the original but close enough for a healthier option. So glad I can enjoy these without having to worry about additives

Delicious!! We couldn’t tell much difference in taste. They still have the same nacho cheddar flavor and the crunch is the same. My 12 year old loves them. The color change is noticeable and there are no orange dusty fingers tips after eating a few. We’re totally fine with that and we definitely will be buying more once in stock. It’s nice that you can still have the great taste of Doritos without all the artificial stuff added in.

Looked forward to trying these however the taste is completely not like the original. They lack seasoning. Tastes like Doritos at first, however as he chew they lose flavor, more seasoning will make them better. Comes down to if you want a healthier version or the original.

really good great tasting. they taste the same. love them. if someone would give you one to try and you was blindfolded you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. they taste even better we think. but sometimes and try them. they are yummy yummy yummy.

I opened this bag expecting reasonable, responsible snacking. What I got instead was a righteous nacho experience with a clean conscience and maximum crunch. These Doritos Simply NKD Nacho Cheese chips are like regular Doritos went on a wellness retreat, came back enlightened, and still chose violence (toward my self-control). No dyes. No artificial flavors. Still absolutely coated in bold nacho glory. The crunch? Cathedral-level acoustics. The flavor? Classic Doritos swagger without the neon orange crime scene. The vibe? “I care about ingredients but I still want to demolish half a bag in one sitting.” You finish eating and your fingers aren’t glowing radioactive orange. You feel… clean. Respected. Like Doritos shook your hand and said, “We got you.” If regular Doritos are a muscle car, these are the electric performance upgrade — same thrill, smarter build. Warning: You will say “just a few chips” and then suddenly it’s an empty bag and personal reflection time.

I have to evaluate based on no dyes, and without certain additives. Being a Babby Boomer/Gen X I will compare these no dye chips with regular Nacho Doritos. I tried the no dye ones with and without my chili cheese dip with jalapeños. Without the dip the chip actually tasted bland and it didn't have the rigid texture of the chip itself. I understand it had no dyes, but it felt the additive they did put on the chips was almost an after thought and not a bold flavor at all. The texture of the chip felt more like a rice cake than a corn chip. They did have a crunch but it broke too easily. When I tried the chip in my chili cheese dip they continued to snap off in the dip, and for me it wasn't cool I understand the company needs to come up with a chip that conforms to the new standards, but in my opinion this was not it. In my opinion if you're going to make a corn chip, at least make it thick enough to stand up to chili cheese dip or salsa. For me, I'll wait for the NEW %26 IMPROVED and try those out, until then it's back to chips with cancer chemicals that taste good and stands up to different dips.

I do like these, BUT, as someone who has been eating the nacho cheese flavor for over 30yrs, I can taste a slight difference in flavor. Subtle.... but there none the less and Im just not as attracted to the lighter color. Still prefer the original and thankfully, the original will remain. Good option for those concerned about the dyes though.
