[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for probably 2 weeks now, the set temperature for the refrigerator was at 37, then I put in thermometer, said it was 40, finally I set it to 33, lowest setting, it got down to 36.7, then up to 40.3. The freezer works, the temperature for the fridge is worthless. Yes, the back of the fridge is over 3" from the wall, so it has room to run.

Has the ice machine in the freezer as well. Like that the it’s a smart refrigerator and let’s me know when to change the filters for the water and the fresh air.

We bought our LG a few months ago and have been very pleased! We love the water dispenser on the inside and how easy it is to move the shelves around. Spills are super easy to clean and the shelves in the door can hold lots of drink and food bottles/cans. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase!

It has a bright, spacious interior, big enough that you don't realize it is a count-depth. The door shelves are enormous, with ample space for two gallons of milk in a single shelf. The freezer is likewise spacious and well laid out. The ice maker has worked reliably and makes consistent sized ice cubes. The smart features are subtle but useful, such at a chime if you leave the door open (and a push notification to your phone if you have it set up). I also appreciate the energy monitor feature of the app--the fridge appears to run very efficiently. On top of all that the fridge is also very quiet--I really only notice it running when the ice maker is actively working.

We wanted (and needed) the slimmer appeal of counter-depth but also plenty of space, especially for entertaining. We love that the water dispenser is inside as we don't use it that often. Also, we don't use a lot of ice and the ice maker makes plenty enough. It even reminds us if the ice is old to dump it out. I also appreciate the app reminder to change filters or that a door is open.

Fridge design and appearance are very nice. The chilled water is not chilled, not warm, but not any colder than our tap water. The ice maker is slow. It takes more than 48 hours to fill an employ ice maker. 11 months after purchase, ice maker failed. LG sent new one free of charge, but it is still slow.

I was looking for a large capacity fridge because I probably have one too many condiments in my fridge that take up space so I wanted a larger fridge but I really didn't want a regular depth one because it would stick out too much in my tiny kitchen. The counter depth max fridge is perfect. I really love the deep door shelves also to put all my condiments. I also didn't want a fridge that has a beverage center so the sleek water dispenser inside is perfect for when I want some cold water. This fridge is everything I could ask for and more!
