I still like this program, but have the same "complaint" each year... While I know that the math is correct, I never seem to be able to feel confident that I'm covering ALL my bases in terms of my business expenses, etc.! TT used to offer an external review of the return; now they offer "live advice", but I can't see anything that tells me that they actually review my form! It's the little thing like that which keeps me from max-ing out the review.

Over all quite easy. Some places where there is a risk of double entry of information (car info for example) Happy user for more than 20 years. Amazing to see how insanely complex filing can be. Would be cool if W2 info could be available with little effort. The mailed ones are easily missed

The continued use of this product and some additional features were very helpful. The calculations are accurate and ease to understand. The compatibility with my most secure personal computer system operating system. The interface is intuitive and easy to read and comprehend. The end reporting with smart check system is definitely a plus.

Turbo Tax would not let me pay my federal tax bill with a credit card. The choice of paying with a credit card is in the software, but it would not take me to the place where I could enter a credit card number!!!! This is INSANE and VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I have loved Turbo Tax up until now.m

Some parts were very detailed in explaining things with concrete examples. Those were very good! Other parts were very limited and we had to research a lot. Please keep providing more and more explanations on definitions of items and where to find them. AI trying to change my words as I type this review is BROKEN and it keeps changing to words that don't even exist and I have to retype. Do NOT PUT AI in this. It's already buggy and complex. Please don't make it worse. For Depreciation, you should recommend the type of depreciation scheme since you already ask for the date. For the K1s, please don't make use input multiple K1s in TurboTax for a single one we actually receive, because more than one box is selected for 1-3. You can program that to separate it. Having to manually separate makes this hard to read, because the entity is the SAME, and we cannot tell which is which without hitting "edit" (which is nerve-wracking). Please allow us to have TurboTax local file nicknames of certain items, like I have two 1099-INT from the same entity, but it looks the same unless I hit "edit". This makes it really difficult to check our work. Thanks for asking us for improvements!

There is no reason that users have to jump through hoops to retrieve past years returns. You HAVE them and USE them to file the current year. Inexcusable!!! An I can't wait until TurboTax is hit with a class action suit for deceptive advertising for charging users $25 to file a state return when your packaging clearly states efiling for federal and state.

- You cannot automatically import business data from QuickBooks Online, Intuit's own SaaS accounting software! Same for TurboTax online. That is the most inexcusable thing for a premier software company that presents itself as focused on SMBs. - Interface with CHASE Bank for business loans does not split principal from interest, requiring complete manual re-entry. - Interface with eTrade missed one of two 1099-R records. Both records had to be entered manually.

I just hate how expensive you are - and all the hidden fees at the end of the application. I also hate how you say you can easily merge over documents but then you actually cant. I also hated how you asked me to fix a specific section of a document but then when I went to go find that document, the way that you have it set up, it doesn't show me exactly what the specific section is that you wanted me to fix. Oh and also I tried to write a review and it wouldn't let me, claiming my usernames were all used.

I had a very....difficult time to figure out my CA state itemized deduction. I took me 2 days and finally I found a Itemized Deduction Worksheet in CA's website. After filling out all the information as instructed, I found the result that matched Turbotax provided. Shouldn't you provide this worksheet in the software? The amount is there but without the worksheet, no way to tell where the amount came from. After finding out, my head-ach is gone right away!!!

Home and Small Business edition- navigation back to home office entries is not straightforward or intuitive, it remains hidden behind other links. Also surprised the software was not able to match foreign tax amounts with their associated funds and it made me do this myself looking through the 1099-DIV (what am I paying for?). Also unclear question on Form 1116 and online help was no help at all. Constant badgering to pay more for live assistance.
