This Member's Mark Ultra-Filtered Vanilla Milk Shake is amazing! It actually tastes good straight up, but I use it almost daily as the base in my protein coffee! I actually think it’s better than the Nurri or Fairlife shakes. Very excited to see the new strawberry flavor! Hoping a chocolate, caramel or mocha flavor might be forthcoming…

Well Sam's really missed the Mark on this one! The bottle packaging is a real nightmare!! First, you have to struggle to get the shrink wrap off the top, and the plastic does not tear well. Second, you have to remove the screw-on cap (which should really be all you would have to do like on Fairlife). Third, you have to peel off an aluminum cover that does not come off easily. Why didn't they just use the standard "crack-open" screw on lid like Fairlife. The flavor and texture of the drink, once you work your way down to it, is very good! Unfortunately, they ruined it with the very difficult to open bottle. The drink is obviously made to copy the Fairlife protein drinks using ultra filtered lactose free milk. It actually tastes a lot better than Fairlife, but I don't know if I'm willing to suffer thru the packaging again. This would have been a 5-star review if not for the bottle packaging. Sad!!!

If you're second guessing getting this one bc it seems to good to be true, get it! I've been on this health journey since September trying to do better with my protein intake especially since I'm not a big breakfast person, but I'm also a nurse and long hrs at the hospital I have to eat earlier. This is a great way to get my protein in, the taste is delicious, the after taste is not chalky at all! Definitely need to drink these cold, the colder the better. This is my official one and already ordering my next batch!

Just bought 2 cases of this thinking Members Mark would be a good product, the vanilla just tastes terrible! Has some chemical taste, and absolutely nothing like the vanilla ice cream they show on the case. If you have had fair life 42 vanilla or Nurri, those are so good and this is just bad! Please don’t call it vanilla ice cream when it tastes nothing like that . Sadly such a disappointment since I was expecting this to be tasting at least as good as other ultra filtered vanilla drinks. I’m stuck with two cases now, which tastes nothing like vanilla, but a very weird taste and smell.

I was happy with everything about this vanilla shake. I had no problem getting the bottle opened. The first sip I was very impressed! Then the plastic taste came🥴. I tried to continue to drink this in my coffee but the strong plastic taste from the bottle was too overpowering. Please package differently so the plastic does not leach into the shake and I'll be a loyal customer!

I don’t know if the product was spoiled or if I just didn’t like the flavor. When I opened the cap it smelled sour and powdery. I thought perhaps it was a fluke and opened another. Even gave one to coworker to see what they thought. Ended up returning both cases as I just couldn’t bear to throw them back.

I'm always skeptical of these drinks having odd notes and tastes, especially since I typically associate Member's Mark brand as cheap knock off versions of popular brands, but they nailed it with this one - tastes just like a vanilla milk shake! Personally, I prefer to refrigerate them and drink them cold rather than room temp. Will definitely continue buying these!

Shake is great, tastes good and has good macros. My only complaint is, I don’t think whoever made this actually opened this before. Why in the world would they make you rip a small piece of plastic off the top open the bottle and then have to rip another piece of foil off the cap?!? Now I can have all of these little pieces of plastic and trash all over the place. A similar competitor uses an aluminum can which is great, no plastic, recyclable, and way easier to open.

I was really excited to try these because I prefer vanilla over chocolate in general, and I've never seen vanilla shakes at Sam's before. I am extremely disappointed that as soon as I opened it, I noticed an eggy smell. I thought that maybe I imagined it and took a sip, but it tasted just as bad. I opened another in case it was a fluke, but it had the same smell. I'll be dumping all of these out as it seems they're spoiled, even though it says they're good until November this year.

This is the worst protein shake I have ever had. I usually but Premier (powder or premade), but I tried it because of the price. BIG MISTAKE! When I opened it, I noticed a very unppealing oder , I thought it was spoiled. I had my wife take a sip and she said it was most likely the container and also a cheap vanilla flavoring. She said it was sub par. There is no accounting for taste, but I will not be buyIng it again no matter what the price.
