I use this all the time for pan sautéing veggies and searing meats. There’s no smoke at low and medium temperatures and very little smoke when searing steak at medium-high temperatures. We live in an apartment and love to pan cook steaks and steak bites. Our smoke detectors don’t go off even without any windows open. Great stuff for higher heat cooking!

Being Italian I’m always frying meatballs, eggplant and chicken cutlets. I’ve tried a lot of oils. Being it’s extra light I was worried it would have a funny taste and not cook correctly for my needs. But wow I can’t believe my kids and boyfriend didn’t notice the difference and we were able to save calories at the same time. Any time I can swap in healthier options it’s a win. And this product is a huge win since I’m always cooking with oil. It doesn’t burn and can handle the heat. It truly reminds me of when I was growing up the oil Olive in the big cans/tins that you would have to poke holes in from Italy. It has an authentic taste that reminds me of being a kid and I love the fact I can now share that with my kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually when a company refers to their product as light it has a substitution that compromises its product quality and flavor. I stay away from Olive Oil’s in general because they usually have a very strong taste and aroma. I also am not very fond of oil in general. This Extra light Olive Oil from Bertolli is spot on! It’s has a very soft but subtle flavor and not overpowering like the other brands. The color is also softer like a paler shade of straw. I like it. It only has two ingredients which makes it pure. Taste great and I will continue to use in different recipes so I can whether or not the flavor profile changes. What I don’t like is that even though it is light it still has 120 calories per tsp of serving. So it’s light on the flavor not the calories. Guess you can’t have everything.

It actually has given me the motivation to keep using it, we’ll see what else comes next.

I added about 3 tbs to my skillet then cut up my beef to stir fry. It turned out fantastic and the taste was phenomenal! I will definitely be using this olive oil for my recipes!

I love Bertolli cooking oils because are healthier and flavor is great is a little pricey but is well worth it . I think this Extra light olive 🫒 oil will be staple In my pantry is thin ,order is minimal even when is hot and that’s a plus for me . I love the bottle dispenser easy to dispense the right amount, my husband loves to take a little tea spoon for best digestion and he said is by far the best for that purpose I will recommend and continue to use .
