Great Quality and Value!

I bought these hearing aids for my brother after getting help at the Lucid Hearing Center in Sam's Club. They are very good quality and can be used with or without the phone app. My Mom tried them first. She had been fitted with very expensive Cros hearing aids. She could hear just fine out of these hearing aids including out of her ear that is near deaf. The booklet that comes with these hearing aids is excellent! It is also much better than the booklet that came with my Mom's very expensive hearing aids. Also, support is free at the Lucid hearing center. It costs us at least $150 to talk to my Mom's audiologist. I am excited to have my brother try them.

Very poor

My wife has these and they will not hold a charge for all day use. The right one turns off and on when it wants to. We have taken them back to the store many times. The clerk was always gone during the warranty return period. Now they say sorry they are out of warranty. I would not recommend these to anyone. Go to a reputable dealer. The price will be about the same. The price shown doesn't included needed accessories.

Poor life expectancy - Lucid says throwaway item

These hearing aids are only supported for 3 years. I bought my Lucid hearing aids in 2021 and had to have the right one repaired in 2022 doe $150. Then the left hearing aid failed in 2023, but was told Lucid could not repair it because they didn't have the parts. I asked if Lucid would discount a new pair because they couldn't repair mine and was told Lucid didn't discount for any reason. So a maximum of three years for over $2,000 is all you can expect from these aids.

Excellent Experience - Lucid Hearing at Sam's Club

I had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer Trainham, Hearing Instrument Specialist with Lucid Hearing at Sam's Club on Broad Street in Richmond, VA. From start to finish, Jennifer was professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure I felt comfortable and confident with the purchase of hearing aids for my 83-year old mother as a surprise Christmas gift. I was especially grateful for the affordable over-the-counter option, which made this purchase accessible and stress-free. Terrible quality!

I bought these over-priced hearing aids 6 years ago. They were “sent off “ for repair 5-6 times each, still didn’t work. A second pair is even worse. My advise, try somewhere else. I wasted about $8500 and still got junk!
