I was relieved to try these aids out. I had a very hard time opening the battery compartment on one. I wasn't sure exactly where it was. I was afraid I'd break something. But I figured it had to be similar to my first set of hearing aids. The direction booklet was lacking in good directions. I don't know how a first time user could get them working am all. "Pair" it says, with no further direction on pairing. But I finally got them working. There was not great clear sound in either aid. I tried all fur of the programs. I'm returning them.

Save money don’t buy

The lucid hearing aids may work for some but I’m $3,000 lighter and the hearing aids don’t work. Save your money and go to a reputable company I have fought for 2 years and they are currently in the jar sitting on a shelf. Between the squealing not coming on terrible back ground pick up. In crowds forget it. The cause my ears to ring I get headaches from them this has been a nightmare

Absolutely delighted.

I am in tears. I can hear the patter of rain. I can hear the water bubbling in the teapot. I can hear my cat quietly scratching at the door. I literally had forgotten about those ambient sounds. I can listen to TV at a volume that doesn’t disturb anyone. I can clearly hear my family on video chat. After only an hour’s time adjusting I wasn’t even conscious of wearing them. I’ve had no problems with feedback, and I had these things in my ears and running in less than 10 minutes from opening the package. I wear glasses and they don’t interfere at all. The app took me longer to download, and figure out, End it doesn’t seem to want to pair without shutting, both the phone and the hearing aids off and then restarting. I’ll work on that, but the app doesn’t really seem to offer a lot of advantages over adjusting from the devices themselves. I was stunned to find out that I can stream the sound from for example, Spotify directly through the hearing aids. Things like the reliability of the units, battery life, how they will work in noisy situations etc. are yet to be determined, but so far these work every bit as good as the other ones I tried, which were literally 10 times the price.

The app has two features that are unavailable at the hearing aid level. The AudioEQ allows you to control the volume of the streaming, for example, Spotify, compared to the environment as well as the pitch. The LucidShape allows you to adjust, or shape, the way the aids sound, like an equalizer on a stereo. GO ANYWHERE BUT TO LUCID!! I HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES FOR FOUR YEARS WITH THEM!! Numerous problems from not fitting properly to not being able to hear properly with them and no adjustment helped. Worked with numerous different people who work for Lucid and they all would tell me something different. Went to Audibel hearing aids were set up when I got there and they work great and fit great. Four years of frustration with Lucid and $5000 down the drain!! DON'T WAS YOUR TIME OR MONEY PEOPLE!!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. The average life of a hearing aid battery is typical for 5 to 7 days. However, this can be less if prescription in high, or if the patient's loss is severe to profound. The battery life will also be affected by the amount of streaming done throughout the day. I would like to have more volume. The instruments keep unpairing and to re-pair them you have to take them out, open and close the battery doors. It’s the only way to get the pairing to find them. Can be pretty aggravating!
